What a joy it has been to watch the promise of Cristo Rey Orlando come alive in our first weeks of school. Your investment in our students is bearing fruit, and the energy on campus is contagious. The classrooms are filled with determination and growth, and our students are walking with pride and anticipation as they prepare for their new roles with our corporate partners. Draft Day was a powerful reminder of what we are building together. The moment when our students met their new colleagues for the first time was electric. They felt valued and celebrated! I am so grateful to each of you for believing in these young people and to our corporate partners for opening your doors to them. Like our mascot, the Phoenix, our students are ready to rise...and I have no doubt they will soar.

Draft Day!

Draft Day was a yet another milestone for Cristo Rey Orlando High School! Our students were officially matched with their corporate placements, launching their journeys into the professional world. From law firms to hospitals, banks to construction companies, our incredible partners will welcome students into workplaces where they will learn, grow, and shine.

Thank you to our corporate partners for investing in tomorrow’s leaders.

From September 2–4, students will begin orientation at their corporate workplaces. Their first official work days will be September 8–11, marking the start of the Corporate Work Study Program. We wish our scholars the very best as they embark on these meaningful career journeys.

Supervisor Training

Cristo Rey Orlando hosted its inaugural Corporate Work Study Supervisor Training, bringing together leaders from healthcare, finance, legal, construction, and more. Supervisors gained valuable insights on mentoring and guiding our students as they step into professional workplaces.
