We have so much appreciation and love for the service
they have given to the development of this project in these early years.
After the purchase of the building, Dec 27 2021, there was a feeling of 'something new' emerging for each of us in different ways. The purchase of the building was a big event, but bigger than we could have imagined, not just for the House, but in our own lives.
By February 2022, Kate and Molly felt a sense of completion in their time here, and a desire to move forward and enter into the next chapter of their individual lives. It was almost like we crossed the finish line together, this 5 year goal had been achieved at long last, and with that, a new beginning for their lives was calling to them. We honored each others callings. They resigned by March, yet continued to serve during the transitional period of this 501c3.
Having the highest intentions for the well-being of this organization, we made important decisions regarding its future. The process of selecting the new board began. Hiring a local accounting firm to take care of the bookkeeping. Getting all legal matters taken care of. Following through on responsibilities that come with owning and maintaining a structure such as this. Lots of hard work has been happening here, all on a volunteer basis. So much has gone on during this time, and there's so much more underway.
