A Hugh Thank You

The generosity of the congregation with both time and money made the Back-to-School Backpack Project a great success again. A total of forty backpacks are being provided for PCHAS clients. Those who sponsored one or more students were an immense help. Then there where those of you who made monetary donations, some who shopped for the students who did not get a sponsor, others who did the sign-ups, a member who made the name tags, and finally volunteers who organized the supplies and filled the backpacks. Gift cards are also being provided for additional supplies for secondary students, as well as for a few clothing items that may be needed by the school-age children served by our local PCHAS workers. Thank you for helping make the start of school a positive experience for these students.

Rehearsals resume on Wednesday, August 14. There is plenty of room for more in both groups. Call Joyce for more information at 361-779-9665.
