Reminder: Worship in Fellowship Hall
Worship will be held in Fellowship Hall. You may want to bring a pillow to sit on and you definitely want to bring a sweater or jacket.

Sanctuary Air Conditioning Update
The sanctuary is cooled by two air conditioning units. Both units failed at the same time, but for different reasons. A leak in the refrigerant lines caused one unit to fail. The other unit suffered severe metal deterioration from the salt-laden air. Both units were over twenty years old.
We received proposals from three HVAC contractors, all of whom pointed out significant problems with a "replacement" approach. The "replacement" approach essentially would duplicate the system that was in place when the sanctuary was built in 1967. The Properties Committee decided it would be wise to have a Mechanical Engineer assess the space and prepare new specifications. Hopefully, that work will be completed in the next week and then contractors can bid based on the new specifications.
In the meantime, we will continue to worship in Fellowship Hall.
Thank You To Parkway From El Divino Salvador

Thank you to everyone who donated shoes and clothing and who made monetary donations. Sunday, August 11th will be the next Clothes Closet collection date. Please bring any items you wish to donate by then.
