Housing is a Human Right

Edgerton Meadows Updates

In recognition of National Homelessness Awareness Month, Abundance Food Co-op chose the REACH Tiny Homes Project for their monthly Roundup for Nonprofits campaign. Co-op members and REACH Tiny Homes team members Marcia Reaver and Pat Tobin stopped by Abundance recently to pick up a check for $2,661.95. We thank the owners and customers of Rochester's only community-owned grocery store for their generosity.

The team received more good news earlier this month. Our application for operating funds from the Empire State Supportive Housing Initiative was conditionally approved.

Introducing Our Newest Board Members

Karen Drain is a Construction Project Manager with PathStone’s Real Estate Development team. She attended St. John Fisher College and is a lifelong Rochester resident.

Susan K. Porter serves on the Advocacy Team of REACH. Sue has recently retired and served 40 years as the Director of the Judicial Process Commission.

Sharing the Incredible REACH Story

Trinity Episcopal Church in Greece is donating items for the REACH Project Haven shelters during March. A wagon of items was collected during the Sunday that Peter and Sarah Peters shared the REACH Story.
