SEMAINE DE LUTTE CONTRE LE RACISME | WEEK AGAINST RACISM
La semaine de la lutte contre le racisme et l'antisémitisme  s’est déroulée, pour Rochambeau, la semaine du 21 janvier 2019, à la suite du jour férié en l'honneur de Martin Luther King.
Différentes initiatives ont fleuri, dans les classes d’élémentaire notamment. Cliquez ci-dessous pour voir leur excellent travail (vidéos et photos) !
For Rochambeau,  the Week Against Racism & Antisemitism  took place the week of January 21, 2019, following the Martin Luther King Day.
Various initiatives have flourished, in elementary classes in particular.

SIMULATION D'UNE NÉGOCIATION DIPLOMATIQUE | EXPERIENCE DIPLOMACY & VISIT THE US STATE DEPARTMENT
Join a small group of other international and American students to participate in a diplomacy simulation regarding a refugee crisis and visit the U.S. State Department. This program will take place during the February break and is organized by an English school located in downtown Bethesda, English Now!
SEMAINE DES LANGUES | LOGO CONTEST FOR SECONDARY STUDENTS
Le département LV2 fait appel à tous les élèves de la 6ème à Tle pour concevoir le logo célébrant la Semaine Mondiale des Langues de Rochambeau qui a lieu tous les ans lors de la dernière semaine d'école en décembre.
Une version numérique du logo doit être envoyée à martineza@rochambeau.org avant le 19 avril 2019.
Le designer du logo gagnant recevra un chèque-cadeau Amazon de 50$.
The LV2 department calls upon all students from 6ème to Tle to design the logo for Rochambeau World Languages Week celebration that usually takes place the last week of school in December.
An electronic version of the logo should be submitted to martineza@rochambeau.org by April 19 2019.
The designer of the winning logo will receive a $50 Amazon gift certificate.

Des élèves du Secondaire ont participé à une demi-journée de formation de Baby Sitting et CPR ! Cette formation est ouverte à tout le Secondaire. Inscrivez-vous ! Cette session animée par une infirmière de Safe Sitter (appartenant à l'association American Heart Association Training Center) permet à nos élèves d’enrichir leurs connaissances afin d’assurer un meilleur service pour une garde d’enfant. 

Secondary School students participated in a half-day babysitting and CPR training! This training is open to the whole Secondary School. Register now! Facilitated by a nurse from Safe Sitter (from the American Heart Association Training Center), this session allows our students to enrich their knowledge in order to provide a better service for childcare.

BASKET-BALL | BRAVO TO OUR MIDDLE SCHOOL TEAMS!
BRAVO à notre équipe garçons du collège qui a gagné la 2nde place hier , après une dure bataille (22-24) contre LabSchool. Félicitations à nos joueurs et à l'équipe des Filles pour cette excellente saison ! L'équipe féminine a aussi eu une rude bataille la semaine dernière. Nous sommes fiers de nos athlètes !
Maintenant, c'est l'heure des play-offs des équipes lycéennes VARSITY !
BRAVO to our MS Boys who won 2ND PLACE yesterday , after a tough fight (22-24) against the Lab School. Congratulations to them and to the MS Girls for an excellent season! Our girls team also had a hard fight last week.

We are proud of our athletes!
Now, it's time for our HS VARSITY play-offs !
