COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic for 5 to 11-year-olds
Rio Rancho Public Schools is teaming up with the New Mexico Department of Health, Corrales Fire Department, and Rio Rancho Fire Department to host a Pfizer pediatric COVID-19 vaccine clinic exclusively for students ages 5 to 11-years-old.

The indoor vaccination clinic will take place on Monday, Nov. 22 from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Sagebrush Church located at 7555 Enchanted Hills Blvd in Rio Rancho. This clinic will be managed by the NM Department of Health. *Please note this is NOT a drive-through clinic.

Students eligible to receive a vaccine at this clinic must register on the state's vaccine portal and schedule an appointment using the special event code for Rio Rancho Public Schools. The special event code was emailed to all elementary and middle school parents and guardians on Nov. 8 using the primary parent email address on file in your child's PowerSchool record. Parents or guardians must complete the consent form online in the vaccine portal before their child can receive the vaccine.
If this event fills up, we will work with our partners to schedule additional vaccination clinics for the Pfizer pediatric COVID-19 vaccine.

*Please do not share the event code with any students outside of Rio Rancho Public Schools, as vaccine supplies are limited and appointments will be first come, first served.
November Case Count Update
As reported by the New Mexico Department of Health, cases of COVID-19 in New Mexico are again on the rise. As our community sees more positive cases, so does Rio Rancho Public Schools.

As of Thursday, Nov. 11, the district has had 111 positive COVID-19 cases in students, staff members and/or contractors for the month. Our total for the school year so far is 584 positive cases.
