Welcome to the world, William James!

Congratulations to our very own Stacey and her family as they welcome the newest member of the Batch clan - William James Batch.

FM 110 Construction Underway

A 13 mile road connecting McCarty Lane to Yarrington Road on the east side of IH 35 is officially under construction.

The loop, which will traverse through the west side of the Airport, is expected to alleviate congestion along 35 and encourage growth on the east side of San Marcos.

TAP, along with the City, is working directly with TxDOT Highways to ensure the road has no effect on aircraft operations and to increase accessibility into the airport by vehicle.

Construction near the airport is expected to begin in late 2014 or early 2015.

October traffic counts are in!

The traffic count for the month of October saw a healthy increase to

7,139 total operations thanks in part to Redbird Skyport's $1.00 AvGas experiment.

Over the past 24 months, we've seen an average of 4,700 monthly operations.

For the first half of October 100LL fuel was offered to pilots at an unheard of $1.00 per gallon, luring in pilots from across the country.

Management office remodel to begin soon

The City of San Marcos is working with an architect to design and remodel the new management offices located along Highway 21.

The goal is to create a space to host future Airport Commission meetings that is convenient to airport tenants and users.

Formula 1

Formula 1 is back in Austin next weekend, November 15-17.

TAP, along with with both our FBO's, have attended numerous transportation meetings in preparation for this year's race.

San Marcos has been front and center in planning efforts and our goal is to once again exceed the expectations of all race patrons in 2013.
