November 2026

"We exist to reach those who are far from God, and to help people

walk in the fullness and power of Jesus Christ in everyday life."

Volunteer Appreciation Month!

With special Sunday services on November 15th

We love our volunteers so much that we are dedicating a whole

month to them!

To all of our amazing volunteers, thank you! Your hard work, faithfulness, and dedication does not go unnoticed. Whether you're serving behind the scenes, welcoming guests, caring for kids, serving on the worship team, or helping in countless other ways, you are making an eternal impact.

It is such an honor to serve alongside you as we work together to further God's Kingdom. What a privilege it is that God invites us to be part of what He is doing in the lives of others! Every act of service, big or small, is an opportunity to reflect the love of Jesus and help people take their next step toward Him.

“Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.” — Colossians 3:23

Thank you for showing up, serving with willing hearts, and faithfully using your gifts to build up the Church. We are so grateful for each of you and the unique part you play in this mission. It is an honor to serve

Jesus with you!

We will be honoring our volunteers all month long and highlighting some really special people during our Sunday services on November 15th. We would especially love for you to join us on that day and help us show our appreciation for them!

Thankfulness

1 Thessalonians 5:18 "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is

God's will for you in Christ Jesus."

How important is being thankful? It is so important that Scripture mentions it throughout the Old and the New Testaments hundreds of times! Did you know that the phrase “give thanks” appears 70 times in most English translations, while broader gratitude-related commands and expressions occur over 250 times. Why is God so focused on His people being thankful? In many of these scriptures, God shows that having a thankful heart is an attitude for our own mental and emotional well-being. In the secular world, the scientific benefits of being thankful are well documented. It reduces stress and anxiety, boosts self-esteem, lowers the incidence of depression and even increases emotional resilience. As followers of Christ, being thankful further turns our hearts from being doubtful and worried to turning our eyes back to the Lord and remembering all He has done. It elevates our faith to expect that all He has done in the past, He can and will do again. Colossians 3:15-17 says, "Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful." This shows a connection to being grateful and having peace. In 1 Thessalonians 5:18, we are commanded to give thanks in all circumstances and that this is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 5:20 even commands us to thank God for everything. Why is this? Does God want us to ignore reality if our situation is difficult? No, God understands how painful some of the things are that His children can experience. But in the midst of difficulty, He wants us to experience the grace and peace that comes from acknowledging His Lordship in all circumstances. He is and will be faithful to us as we obey and wait upon Him to work out His best for us.

So, let us use this month of November to be a month of thankfulness, remembering all the Lord has given us and all He will do on our behalf to show Himself strong in all our circumstances.
