2023 Zimriyah- Youth Choir concert with surrounding congregations

We are thrilled to announce that after a four-year hiatus, the Zimriyah Children’s Choir Festival is back! This event, which is sponsored by the Cantors Assembly Delaware Valley Region, will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at 1:30 pm at Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El in Wynnewood, PA. Our Theme is “Israel 75”. This concert is a vehicle for our children’s choirs/choruses to perform for each other in an afternoon of collegiality. It is not a competition in any sense. We encourage you to bring your family and friends to enjoy a wonderful afternoon of music!

The kids would love to see you! It would mean so much to them to see an Ohev Shalom cheerleading squad!

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Cantor Ocanto-Romo at [email protected].

We encourage you to keep us updated on the Yartzheit information of your loved ones. As the Yartzheit date approaches, we will send an e-mail with a reminder and also invite you to join at Sunday morning or weekday evening Minyan, Friday evening and Shabbat morning services to recite Kaddish.  We have also renewed a long time pre-Covid tradition of inviting those observing a Yartzheit during the week to share a group Aliyah on Shabbat morning.

For Yartzheit updates, please contact our Clergy Administrative Assistant, Melissa Caplan at [email protected] or at 215-322-9595 x110

If you would like to add a loved one to our private REFUAH SHLEMAH - prayer for healing - list, please click here. Rabbi Perlstein and Cantor Ocanto-Romo will privately add their name to the list as the prayer is chanted.
