From the time I was a child growing up in Houston, Halloween has been my favorite Holiday. There’s a thrill in transforming into something completely different, in showing the world another side of ourselves.

 On Friday, September 21, the Los Angeles City Council recognized the SHPE Los Angeles chapter with a proclamation declaring SHPE LA as a local leader in empowering the Hispanic Angeleno community to realize its fullest potential and to impact the Los Angeles region through STEM awareness, access, support and development. Building a personal development plan (PDP) will help you determine your future in detail to know what you want, why you want it, and how you will accomplish it. This type of tool will help you achieve the vision you have of yourself. Learn from experts as they share tips on how to discover and build a plan that leads to success using a variety of tools including a PDP, 360 Performance, and self-evaluations. Participants will walk away with tips and strategies to build up their employability to make informed decisions in their new roles.
