A Message from the County Executive
Dear Friends,
Spring is flying by!
During this month, I had the honor of speaking at our Veterans Service Agency's Annual Memorial Day Ceremony at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery as well as walk in the Camillus Memorial Day Parade. These ceremonies are an important way to honor and remember our veterans and military families for their service and sacrifice.
This month, I also joined the Central New York Regional Transportation Authority (CENTRO), County Clerk's Office and our Veterans Service Agency to announce Centro's new unlimited free ride pass for veterans. More information on the program can be found as you read below.
I also had the pleasure of attending the SELECT USA Conference in Washington, D.C. with members of our Economic Development Team. During the conference, we met with various companies, site selectors and international partners who are excited to make investments in Onondaga County and be a part of our historic growth. We will continue to build on this momentum as Central New York establishes itself as the hub for semiconductor memory manufacturing in North America!
Below you will find additional updates and announcements made over the last month. As always, it is an honor to serve as your County Executive and if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact my office.
Sincerely,
Ryan
