Open Options
Sharing local updates/resources re the COVID-19 response
It's open season! Baseball typically begins, buds and blossoms are waking up, and trails, parks, and their amenities are more widely opening (although plenty are available for use year round-- just check out QCTrails.org). Most importantly, the COVID-19 vaccines are now open to all (16 and older).

Consider SEVERAL options, in both Illinois and Iowa, from our local health systems, county health departments, and pharmacies. Some walk-in availability is even starting to open, free transportation options are offered in certain areas, AND live music is featured at two of the mass vaccination clinics, featuring members of the Quad City Symphony Orchestra.

Go to the one-stop-shop for all available vaccine links and details, compiled by the QC COVID-19 Coalition at TogetherQC.com.

Speaking of vaccine clinics (now open to ALL, 16 and older), you may have heard "Camden" quite a bit in the news lately. It's the site of the Rock Island County Health Department-National Guard Clinic. But did you know behind the clinic building there's an entire park and network of walking paths?! Yep.

The park even has a couple of disc golf courses-- a great way to get some exercise as you hike through a mix of wooded and open areas.

Check out Camden Park's full page of details on QCTrails.org.
