Kettering Health Greene Memorial

Stacy Naff, a clinical nurse manager at Kettering Health Greene Memorial rallied a community service team to volunteer at One Bistro. Their employee magazine published this article about their experience. So grateful you chose One Bistro to serve and connect with the community.

Collaborative Impact Award from

the United Way of Greater Dayton

One Bistro was surprised and honored to receive the Collaborative Impact Award from the United Way of Greater Dayton Area’s “The Big Thanks”! On behalf of the One Bistro Board of Directors and Team, we thank UWGDA for their partnership & help in feeding our neighbors! We have amazing partnerships and volunteers who help One Bistro continue its mission year after year. It was especially sweet to share this morning with some of our incredible volunteers – the heart behind our mission.

"Great food! Treated us like family; just overall great experience :)"

~ Helen W.

It's a Tradition!

Carmina Coronel and Roman Yuvienco drive from Cincinnati to visit One Bistro each year at this time to celebrate their birthdays. They celebrate by enjoying a delicious meal and then Carmina gives the gift of a Community Meal and Roman likes to give the gift of pay-it-forward meals equal to his age. Their joy and generosity is celebrated and appreciated. Thank you, Carmina and Roman and Happy Birthday!

Community Partnerships

Fresh lettuce from the hydroponic garden! Your salad won't get any fresher than that!! We are so thankful for our amazing relationship with the Toward Independence clients from the Day Hab center who plant, grow and harvest the lettuce.

A big "thank you!" to Betsy Harner for providing the gorgeous flowers which grace One Bistro's tables each week!

Xenia Rotary blessed One Bistro with a generous donation of Bob Evans sausage, juice and milk from their annual Pancake Day! We were grateful to be on the receiving end and enjoyed sharing it with our neighbors at Toward Independence and with our guests. #cheerstoXeniaRotary

The Whole Hog!

The gentleman in the middle of the picture below, Victor Long, donated a whole processed hog to One Bistro! He raised the hog himself and it was processed through J&L Butchery in Medway Ohio. When asked how he heard about One Bistro, he said when he got out of the penitentiary, he served and volunteered at the bistro. One Bistro was one of the places that welcomed and accepted him. He said he wanted to come and pay it back by paying it forward and donating this meat. Such a sweet story. God is so good!
