We are so excited to announce One Bistro hit a milestone of 100,000 complimentary meals given away! These complimentary meals serve a variety of people from all walks of life; and, it happened because of YOU. One Bistro opened in Miamisburg in 2012 and now has a single location in Xenia. Together these communities made the 100,000 milestone happen. So exciting - so grateful!

During National Everybody Eats Week, our Community Heroes are participating in a Pay It Forward Contest. Each day one of our Community Hero groups will be in the bistro serving their neighbors and encouraging everyone to pay it forward. The team who brings in the most pay it forwards on their day of service will win this beautiful, engraved dinner bell to keep for 1 year. Besides bragging rights, the bell will serve as a reminder to them for the neighbors they have helped feed.

• Saturday Afternoon, 8/26 - Greene Memorial Hospital Emergency Department

JJ was between jobs and looking for a place to do some community service, when he remembered One Bistro. His nephew had brought him there for lunch several years ago. He started coming in to volunteer and "fell in love." He loves everything One Bistro does for the community. It is a unique place, a place that helps the people who are serving as well as the people who are being served. Even though JJ is working full time again, he still finds time on the weekends to come in and serve his neighbors! He is happy to be a part of the mission "to provide a place where our neighbors eat and come together as one community."
