Hello Angel,
Have you ever had a moment when something went so right, in such a surprising way, that you couldn’t have planned for, wished for, or imagined?
How we meet those moments has everything to do with what happens next in the story of life as it unfolds. I don’t know about you, but my mental scorecard of “missed opportunities” seems to have more marks than the one displaying all the projects that I've taken across the "finish line."
I’ve been thinking and writing about some heavy times lately, which is why it felt especially meaningful when I received an unexpected call a little over a week ago.
A Surprising Spark of Alignment
It was just after 9:00 am when I saw the caller ID display an unknown call coming in. Normally, I would have turned the phone over and ignored the interruption, but I had just been writing a plea to help me focus my efforts on the too-many-things-to-do list for the day and was in no hurry to linger in the void of indecision.
The person knew my name (bonus) and reminded me that we had met last month at the Death, Dying and Grief event. We could have talked for hours, but the time we did have opened up something exciting and EASY to direct my focus toward, but it's more than that.
What emerged through that initial and all subsequent conversations is a cosmically aligned connection and two new blossoming friendships. It's the kind of creative opportunity that feels written in the stars.✨
