This evening we received a few of the new
Northern Pacific and Spokane Portland and Seattle Z-8 4-6-6-4 Challengers. I have photographed one model of each version to show them as only artwork and some dark photos of the models have previously existed. These spectacular locomotives roamed the Pacific Northwest and were truly beautiful and strong. These locomotives will be a great addition to any steam locomotive modeler...and particularly those that model the NP and SP&S roads. These models are offered in the Athearn Genesis series and only come in Soundtraxx Trunami sound and DCC variations. Please note production numbers are limited so if you are considering these models I urge you to act now.
