What You Need To Know For Race Day | |

Hello Carrie, The weather is looking dry for the 15th Annual Valentine's Day race! Please remember to read ALL information provided in this email. You are responsible for knowing your race course, including the location of the start/finish and your turn-around point, along with all USATF rules.

Pick up your race materials either Friday or Saturday and avoid the rush on race morning. See pick up times and locations below. | |

Save time and make sure your have a printed copy of your signed waiver.

There are several opportunities for packet pickup with times and locations listed above. Race day pick-up is available but not recommended as race morning is very busy with parking, warming up, and getting to the start line. If you are picking up your packet or registering on race morning please show up earlier than you normally would to allow time to do so. We will not be able to process new registration or hand out packets once the races start. Gear check will be provided
ALL REGISTRATION QUESTIONS, CHANGES, INQUIRIES, UPDATES MUST OCCUR in person at the Pre-Race Check-Ins Friday / Saturday or on Race Morning.

Planning to pick up race materials/packet for another participant(s)? You'll need 2 things:
- Photocopy/picture of participant's drivers license

Printed, signed waiver found here. We must have a physical, paper copy of the waiver signed by the participant
IMPORTANT: If you are picking up for a couple, both people must sign their own waivers!!!

Expo: Sunday, February 16th, 2025 6:30 AM to 11:00 AM
Race Day Parking: Tidelands Park is located at 2000 Mullinex Dr, Coronado, CA 92118 has approximately 200 parking spots. The neighborhoods around Coronado offer plenty of on street parking if you do not park in Tidelands Park. It is highly recommended that you carpool with friends for the race and arrive early.
Bag Check: A bag check is available at the start line for your convenience. Please no valuables, money, wallets, phones etc., or medications (like an inhaler you may need during the race).
Bag check will close 20 minutes before the start of the race.
Please come immediately after you finish and pick up your items. Items left behind can email info@kozevents.com to arrange to get those items back if found.
Please note: we are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Aid Stations: There are three hydration points along the route located at mile 1.4, 3.5 and 4.7. All aid stations have water. If you would like any sort of electrolyte product, you will need to carry that with you.
Chip Timing: Results will be posted online. Your run/walk time will start when you cross the start line timing mats. You do not have to worry about your start position.

Enter the Costume Contest as a single, Individual, or a group...
To enter: Come to the event dressed in your best Valentine's Day attire! Although this may be the most important aspect of the day, don't forget you will still have to race. Dress accordingly! The Contest will be held at approximately 9:45 am at the awards podium.

Wedding Vow Renewals are Back!
Show the world how much your loved one means to you! Join us at the start line before the race starts to remind your loved one how much they mean to you. Please be at the start line, in the start chute, at 7:15 AM to be included in the ceremony.
We encourage you to wear athletic wedding attire, anything that spreads the love will do. Or you can race in you wedding dress and suit.
We have over 80 Couples Signed up to say I do and we have room for more of our registered participants, just come on over to the start at 7:15 AM and join in.
