Lincoln County Television & Media Center is non-profit, public access, community media for and about the citizens of Lincoln County, Maine

LCTV News January 23, 2024

Hello Claire,

Most of us never had the chance to see the Beatles perform live, especially in their early rock-and-roll pre-Sgt. Pepper era. We've got the next best thing coming up this Sunday at 2:00pm at The Waldo Theatre in Waldoboro. Please come out and enjoy the third show in the LCTV Classis Concert Series with "Studio Two - The Beatles Tribute Show."

Studio Two captures all of the excitement and danceable 50’s and 60’s Rock ‘n’ Roll songs that The Beatles helped popularize. All of this is done in period correct attire and equipment, and the four musicians banter as John, Paul, George and Ringo.

This is a fundraiser for your non-profit Community Media station, and we also hope that the $30 ticket price for an early afternoon show will be just what you need to shake off the mid-winter chills. After all, bringing people together is what Community Media is all about.

The doors open at 1:30pm for the 2:00pm show - see you at The Waldo!

Four Games Livestreaming Tonight + Live Broadcast of Girls Varsity Basketball

Tonight we're live streaming four basketball games with the Medomak Valley Girls and Lincoln Academy Girls on YouTube and LCTV.org. See below for the schedule.

We're also live cable broadcasting the Lincoln Academy Girls Varsity game versus Oceanside on local channel 7 starting at 6:30pm.

These live cable broadcasts are in addition to LCTV’s ongoing YouTube and LCTV.org live streams of all Lincoln Academy and Medomak Valley home games this season.

FRIDAY - Paws for a Cause Double Header - Medomak Valley vs. Oceanside

This Friday, the seventh annual “Paws for the Cause” basketball games to benefit the Lincoln Health Breast Care Program will be host to a varsity doubleheader for the Medomak Valley basketball teams versus rival Oceanside.

We're proud to support the Paws for the Cause Medomak Valley games vs. Oceanside - Girls Varsity at 5:00pm and Boys Varsity at 6:30pm. (Both these games will be live broadcast on local channel 7 as well as live streamed on YouTube.) During these special games, which help raise awareness and funds for the Lincoln Health Breast Care Program, the entire auditorium and players will be decked out in pink. It's an annual tradition for a great cause.

We can't say thanks enough to our Premier and Supporting Sponsors for helping us bring you all the games. Please let them know you appreciate their support!
