Leadership In Action: Meet Ashley!
A steady presence on and off the field, Ashley, a former Beyond Soccer player, is now a freshman at UMass Lowell studying Exercise Science. She brings her passion for health, movement, and mentorship to everything she does.
“Soccer has always been a fundamental part of my life,” she says. “I am passionate about how movement and physical activity can positively impact kids’ health and well-being.”
Before college, Ashley captained the Lawrence High School girls' soccer team, was an honor roll student, and worked as a paid summer Coach Mentor. This fall, she led our Grade 4 Lioness team with calm confidence and commitment. She and co-coach Ana just hosted a team pajama party + music and team-building night to celebrate the season, a small but powerful glimpse of the connection and purpose that drive our mission.
And she is just getting started! Ashley recently stepped into her next leadership position this winter, supporting Director Stephanie McArdle and other female coach mentors with our Resilient Girls program. It is another opportunity for her to build skills, give back, and continue her full-circle leadership journey while she pursues her studies.
