CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OHIO—This afternoon, the façade on the front of the building comprising 3952-3962 Mayfield Road collapsed onto the sidewalk. No one was hurt as a result of the collapse.
Businesses in the building include Kulture Ultra Lounge and Authentix Barber Shop & Salon.
Cleveland Heights firefighters and building and fire inspectors are on the scene and have closed the sidewalk in front of the building. Crews have blocked one lane of traffic eastbound on Mayfield Road. Motorists should expect traffic backups and are advised to find alternative routes.
The City of Cleveland Heights will provide an update when more information is available.
