The RHS PTSA Board of Directors would like to thank this year's members for becoming part of our 

organization! With you, we are a stronger voice that can advocate for students, families, and the 

community!

Remember, that more than 50% of your membership fee goes back to our RHS staff and students through scholarships, activities and programs, staff grants, and more! Examples this year are funding speaker system for the Choir Department, supporting ASB with socials and events, graduation events such as Grad Night and Senior Breakfast, staff appreciation events.

UNABLE TO BECOME A MEMBER?

RHS PTSA strives to be an inclusive organization. This means that PTSA membership is NOT required to have students participate in any PTSA activities. We welcome everyone no matter your membership status. However, we want you to be heard! If you would like to join the RHS PTSA and unable to become a member, we have free membership at absolutely no cost and no application process.


FAQs

  • How do I sign up next school year? Starting August 1, 2023, visit our website at http://redmondhsptsa.org at any time and there will be multiple links and ways for you to join?
  • How much is it to become a member? It will be same as this year $12 for individual, $20 for 2 adults, $12 for a student, $12 for staff. 
  • Are there no-cost memberships? YES!! EVERYONE is eligible for a no-cost membership at any time. Just choose the $0 cost membership on the website without an application process. We encourage you to sign up to let your voice be heard!
  • Do I have to become a member every year? Yes. PTSA Membership are valid for one school year so you will need to sign up each year.
  • Am I required to volunteer if I become a member? Absolutely not! Although some people choose to volunteer, you do not have to volunteer as a requirement of membership.

PTSA Membership Meeting June 14

You are invited to attend our last Membership Meeting of the year on June 14 at 6pm. The meeting's main focus is an awards ceremony to celebrate some wonderful people who make an impact on our school community and to announce our Senior Scholarship recipients. We will also be voting on open Board positions. Only members may participate in voting. This meeting will be in person at RHS. Please save the date and plan to join us. All are welcome!

We are thrilled to announce the names of this year's scholarship winners. These outstanding individuals have demonstrated remarkable academic achievements, leadership qualities and community service. Join us in celebrating their success and congratulating them on this well-deserved honor.

Grad Walks

Several of the feeder elementary schools to RHS will be hosting Grad Walks for the Class of 2023. For more information on Grad Walks that will take place at a specific elementary school, please go here.

Fight Song in the Gym

Your PTSA is proud to have funded the painting of the RHS Fight Song on our gym wall. It will serve as an inspiration to our students and a tribute to Mr. Robertson, who wrote the lyrics. We are grateful for your generous support, which enables us to fund these meaningful projects. Go Stangs!!!!

Volunteers Needed for Senior Laptop Checkin, Goodwill Truck Donations and Yearbook Distribution!

Volunteers are still needed for:


  • Goodwill truck donations sorting - Saturday, June 10th (we really need help)
  • Yearbook distribution - Wednesday, June 14 (we really need help)
  • Senior laptop checkin - Thursday, June 15

Underclassman Parents We Need You!

9th /10th /11th Grade parents we need you! Please come and pay it forward. 


Every year the PTSA throws a Grad Night Party for the Graduating Seniors. This is an all night party from 10pm to 6am on June 16. We need parent volunteers to help with the night. We have positions from registering the seniors at school to chaperoning all night. Any card players out there? We will have black jack tables and would love dealers. Anyone great at crowd movement? We need people to help get students on the correct bus. Office managers, admins? Come and help register the students and check for missing signatures. Please help us throw a great celebration and one day an underclassman parent will be chaperoning your student.

Goodwill Donation Drive at RHS

Bring your unwanted clean clothing, linens, shoes, toys, books, cells phones, CDs, records, cassettes, camping equipment, small household appliances, sporting goods, tools, antiques and collectibles to our donation drive on June 10 from 9am-12pm


All donations to Goodwill will go toward supporting Grad Night.

OL Reign vs. Kansas City Soccer Game June 10 at 7pm

Come and watch OL Reign play against Kansas City and raise funds for Redmond High School Grad Night. OL Reign will battle it out with Kansas City on June 10 at 7pm at Lumen Field. Come and cheer them on and bring your friends. Each ticket sold raises $10 for the Grad Night Funds!

Get Your RHS Spirit Blanket and Decals and Support Grad Night!

For a limited time, the PTSA is selling custom-made RHS spirit blankets and decals. Proceeds go to support Grad Night to help offset the cost of the event and provide scholarships for students to make the event accessible to any graduating senior who wants to attend.


Blankets are $60 each and decals are $5 each. They are only available for a limited time - until they are sold out.

National 529 Day 

It’s never too early or too late to start saving for college. May 29th was National 529 day with the goal of raising awareness about this special type of educational savings account. Washington State has 529 programs to help college students and their families save for the future. And 529’s can be used to pay for many different types of educational expenses including vocational and trade schools, books, lab fees, student housing, on-campus meal plans, some student loans, and tuition at public or private elementary and secondary schools.
