We invite all Mississippi Medicaid providers to join us for our February 2025 training sessions. Please review the session descriptions below and use the registration links provided to select the most relevant options for your needs.

Training Topics

Qualitrac Q&A Sessions

This training session is designed for both new users and returning providers who need a refresher on navigating the Qualitrac platform. It provides a comprehensive introduction to all review types and discuss recent updates in Qualitrac. Key topics include review timing, eligibility verification, authorization submissions, the InterQual process, appeals, and care management services. Attendees will gain a clear understanding of how to efficiently submit requests, avoid common errors, and stay up to date with system changes. A live Q&A session will follow to address specific questions.

Review Type: PRTF Authorization

This training is designed for Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) providers who submit authorization requests through the Telligen Provider Portal Qualitrac. Attendees will gain a clear understanding of the review process, required documentation, and best practices for timely approvals. The session will also cover important updates, changes to submission guidelines, and proper use of the PRTF Mailbox for census and incident reports. Specific Review Trainings are offered at two different times for your convenience, but you only need to attend one session per topic.

Review Type: Acute Inpatient Authorization

This training is designed for Inpatient Hospital providers who submit authorization requests through the Telligen Provider Portal. Attendees will gain a clear understanding of the review process, required documentation, and best practices for timely approvals. The session will also cover important updates, submission guidelines, continued stay reviews (CSR), discharge tasks, and proper use of the portal for authorization requests. A Q&A session will follow to address any questions.
