Oktoberfest was a blast! We are so grateful to everyone that participated from our amazing crafters, delicious food vendors the countless volunteers and the generous sponsors. An event like Oktoberfest requires the full support of the community to make it a success from year to year...and a success it was! All these smiling faces are proof that goods time were had and memories were made.

Beers were enjoyed, steins were raised, cars were parked and bags were tossed all in an effort to help raise dollars for the Elkhorn Chamber, Blessing Boxes of Walworth County, The Elkhorn Food Pantry and the Elkhorn Lion's Club! Not to mention all the groups who fundraised at a booth and spent the day interacting with over 5,000 guests.

Elkhorn Oktoberfest really had us dancing in the streets this year. Each year we learn new things. What works. What doesn't. We gather data and commentary and make plans to come back bigger & better than the year before. 2024 will be no exception.

Mark those calendars for October 19th, 2024! And don't forget that we still have some serious winter fun and our holiday kick-off yet to come!

County Coordinator, Uniting to Prevent Targeted Violence (UPTV) – Walworth, Waukesha, Kenosha, Racine, Milwaukee

Hours and Schedule: Estimated ~24 hours/month, with fluctuations. Generally flexible hours, but with a need to participate in (1) program gatherings in person on several Saturdays (9:30am-3:30pm, dates to be decided by you and other Core Team members), and (2) weekly Core Team planning meetings, including during the business day. The projected duration for this role is October 23, 2023, through September 30, 2025.

Compensation: $840/month (based on $35/hour wage and estimated ~24 hours/month). You will be paid twice monthly (on the 15th and 30th). All program-related transportation expenses will be reimbursed.
