Join us in congratulating Dr. Rechel Anderson, our district Superintendent, on acceptance to the American Association of School Administrators (AASA) / Howard University Urban Superintendents Academy. Dr. Anderson is joining an exciting, courageous, and trailblazing group of leaders who have earned the opportunity to participate in the Academy.
The importance and value of a landmark program such as the AASA/Howard University Urban Superintendents Academy align with historic and current national and local social challenges. The goal of the program is to be proactive, deliberative, and visionary and accept the responsibility of developing effective urban leaders who effectively address equity as a core value. Dr. Anderson has worked tirelessly to transform teaching and learning in Jasper County School District. We know she will represent us well!
