Jessica comes to the work of the presbytery after serving as a pastor within the congregational setting for over fifteen years both as an associate pastor outside of Washington, D.C. and locally as a solo pastor in the Mon Valley. Jessica is married to Andy, who is a cartographer for the Federal Government’s Department of the Interior, and is mom to two young adults, Evan and Cami.
Jessica brings her wisdom and experience as a pastor to bear as she helps imagine and lead our presbytery to strengthen and support the mission and ministry of our 120 individual congregations, new worshipping communities and other fresh expressions of the church.
She believes the role and responsibility of the Presbytery is to come alongside our ministry leaders in ways that both empower and equip them to lead the best versions of their congregations.
Together, Jessica hopes we can increase the vitality and relevancy of our faith communities, making each expression a powerful witness to the good news of Jesus Christ broken on their particular street and neighborhood.
Jessica’s primary responsibility is to provide leadership for Pittsburgh Presbytery’s mission and vision and to direct the Presbytery Staff. She would love to talk more about your hope for the church, especially here in Pittsburgh. We hope you're able to attend on Nov. 16th!
