Multi-Generational Purim Celebration

Music by Deb Kamins and Randi Cohen.

Sponsored by the Youth and Family Engagement Committee in coordination with the Religious School. Be a part of our famed Purim celebration designed for all ages, with a Megillah reading, Purim tunes and spoofs. Refreshments will be served. Costumes are encouraged and bring a box of dried pasta to use as a gragger, to later be donated to the Food Pantry.

Aryeh Green will be speaking about his experiences during his 600-mile trek across Israel that are the basis for this book. Mr. Green’s engaging presentation covers a broad ranging personal story about making connections. The Jewish Federation of Delaware and Seaside's Adult Education Committee are sponsoring Mr. Green’s presentation. Attendees are invited to a reception following the presentation.  Registration is required.

Trudy Graboyes is bringing her one-woman show to Seaside Jewish Community, about her grandmother’s immigration journey from Europe to America. Don’t miss, “Her Strength, Our Story”, with Trudy acting and singing as her grandmother. After the performance, there will be time for audience members to share their family’s immigration stories. East of the River is a duo of Jewish musicians that play liturgical and culturally Jewish music as well as much more. They were founded by internationally renowned recorder players Nina Stern and Daphna Mor. The music is arranged and interpreted by musicians whose musical backgrounds include Classical, World music and Jazz. Together they create the unique blend that is East of the River.
