SEASIDE HIGH HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE


The Community Services committee will be collecting food to help the

Good Samaritan Pantry at Epworth United Methodist Church. The collection will take place before and during Kol Nidre Service on Friday, October 11 and at Yom Kippur Service on Saturday, October 12. If you plan to attend services in person, please bring either canned goods (ex. tuna, fruit, vegetables, soup, etc.) and/or non-perishable, packaged dry goods, (for example, pasta, rice, beans, cereal, peanut butter). There will be grocery carts in the Epworth lobby to leave food donations in.

Reverse Tashlich

Seaside Jewish Community will join Repair the Sea®, and Jewish communities around the world in the 7th Annual Reverse Tashlich, a global waterfront cleanup. We will meet at the Fishing Pier - State Henlopen Park from 10-12 for a short introduction by Rabbi Danan followed by a beach cleanup.

Family Reverse Tashlich Happy Hour at 12:30 PM

After the Reverse Tashlich event, join us for a relaxing Family Happy Hour at Big Oyster Brewery! Let the kids have fun on the playground while you enjoy some snacks and good company. No registration required.

Pizza in the Hut and Sukkot Festival Celebration

The annual Pizza in the Hut and Sukkot Service will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2024 starting at 11:30 AM in the Seaside Sukkah. All members, their families, and friends are invited to join us for a pizza and salad lunch in our Sukkah, followed by a short Sukkot program led by Rabbi Julie Danan. The Membership Committee hopes to see you at this event. Let’s fill the Sukkah with joy and song, and good friendship. Registration is required by Thursday, October 17.

Seaside's Got Talent

Registration is required. Seaside’s Got Talent event (not a talent show) is a showcase of the many special talents of our members. It will be an evening of music, food, and the arts. Musical entertainment will once again be provided by the Senatones Rock and Roll band.
