And the award goes to...
Syneos Health was awarded CRO of the Year for supporting cutting edge research and advocacy across CNS disorders. Accepting the award for Syneos was Dianna Zaring, Keri McDonough, Chris Southard and Alexandria Wise-Rankovic.
Intracellular Therapies was named Sponsor of the Year for their work on our projects including Project ROCKSTARR. Accepting the award was Sue Maino, Laura Llewellyn and Kim Vanover.
Woodland Northwest Research was awarded Site of the Year. They are a part of Evolution Research Group who is continually finding ways to work with the Coalition from sponsoring training videos to piloting STARR 911 and other projects. Accepting the Award was Nichole Gutierrez, Director of Woodland Northwest. Nichole has been a great leader in the design and implementation of projects from The STARR!
Advocacy of the Year was awarded to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention for their leadership in STARR 911, a collaborative effort between research and advocacy to help individuals with suicidal ideation have the resources they need to prevent suicide. Accepting the award was John Madigan, Senior Vice President of Public Policy for AFSP. Thanks to John and the incredible work of AFSP!
Leslie Franceschi was the recipient of the Lew Yagodnik Award for her strong, unwavering advocacy. Leslie is continually looking around the next corner, finding creative and innovative ways to create a better life for those living with central nervous system disorders. Accepting the award for her this year was her amazing husband, Jorge Franceschi. Leslie was busy winning a national speed skating competition! How cool is that? Congrats, Leslie, we love the work you do!
