SYA completes the first walk through of the new

PATRIOT PARK NORTH

(the old LLV site by Willow Springs Elementary)

On Friday, August 5, SYA was invited to participate in the first walk through of the brand new Fairfax County Park Authority park named Patriot Park North. SYA is partners on this new facility with FCPA. We wanted to share some history of how we got to this point.

Valor Rising Training Program

This Valor Rising training program is open to all players who want to be dedicated and wish to be exceptional. This program is for players born in 2016 & 2017 looking to enhance their soccer learning experience and prepare for travel soccer.

SYA ANNUAL BOARD MEETING

Election of officers annual meeting will be held at the SYA Office, located at 5950 Centreville Crest Ln, Centreville VA 20120 - on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 7pm. Any member in good standing with SYA may attend. If you wish to be considered for one of the positions, President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, please submit your intent along with a resume to ADMIN@SYAYOUTHSPORTS.ORG by August 26, 2022.

Why does SYA have "Waitlist" and what happens with it?

"Waitlists" are created by each sport each season to ensure placement of every child based on the number of Volunteer coaches we have signed up. While a waitlist is necessary, we try to place every single child on a team. If by chane we cannot place a child to a team, you will be issued a full refund.

So please sign up early to avoid waitlists but do not be discouraged by them as we do try and place all children.

SYA wants to thank all members for their efforts in relation to being safe. Your Board of Directors appreciates everyone's patience and understanding of adjustments that have been needed in relation to COVID and ensuring everyone's safety.

SYA develops their protocols based on information from CDC, VA State and local officials.
