THE BANNER Sandwich making will take place this Saturday, May 19. All parishioners are invited and encouraged to join the St. Michael’s Hunger Ministry on the third Saturday of each month from 10-11 AM in the Taylor Room to make sandwiches for the Bridge and FOCUS St. Louis clients.

United Thank Offering giving is sent in to the Diocese in early December and early June. UTO boxes may be turned in now, to be added to the June Offering.
Did you know that the Nicaraguan Mission started 19 years ago? In 2006, land was purchased in Nejapa and a school was constructed with our financial support and physical labor (and the support of other faith-based groups in the USA). Today, the school is a fully-functioning Christian school, PreK-11 grades with 310 students.

RECTOR’S FORUM: The Rector's Forum is in recess until the fall.

CHURCH SCHOOL: Sunday is the final day for the 9:15 AM Church School program. Please note that there WILL BE Church School chapel services and classes.

CHURCH SCHOOL TEACHERS, YOUTH MINISTRY TEACHERS AND LEADERS will be recognized during the 9:15 AM service.

FRIDAY MORNING WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY: Review the Collect and Scripture readings for the upcoming Sunday. We meet Friday mornings in the Library from 7:30-8:30 AM following Holy Eucharist at 7 AM in St. Mary’s Chapel. This will be the last Friday Bible Study until the fall.

How We Got This Bible: Sixty-six books (or more?), written over the course of hundreds of years, copied by hand, and translated into hundreds of languages—how did we get the Bible we have today? All ladies of the parish are invited to come investigate the history of this sacred book and explore an overview of the whole biblical story from creation to new creation.

PARISH PICNIC IN THE STREET: The annual Parish Picnic in the Street follows the 10 AM service on Sunday, May 27. Join us for a barbecue, bouncy castle, games, pony ride, petting zoo, and Wayne, the Balloon Guy! The cost is $5 per child for unlimited use of the games. Rain or shine!

MEMORIAL DAY: The Church offices and building will be closed.

HUNGER MINISTRY CASSEROLE MAKING: 5 PM in the CSMSG kitchen (ending around 7 PM). After casseroles are made, those attending will be asked to take them home to bake, cool, and freeze before returning. Casseroles will be distributed to Gateway 180 and FOCUS ST LOUIS. Ingredients, pans, and lids will be provided. Bring a snack and/or wine to share if you wish. Please RSVP by June 1 to Alison Wiedle ( or 314.307.8300) or Becky Zaccarello ( or 314.494.0788).
