Health and Safety

Incident Reporting with the Middle Tennessee Council

IMPORTANT - If an incident has occurred:

1. Take care of the injured/find a safe place.

2. Preserve and document the evidence/take photos if appropriate.

3. Complete an incident report and notify your local council.

Always visit the Middle Tennessee Council Health and Safety page for instructions: www.mtcscouting.org/healthandsafety

Timely, clear, concise, and complete incident reports allow for an appropriate response and an opportunity for analysis while promoting continuous improvement of our programs. You can report incidents, near misses, and youth protection/membership infraction incidents yourself at the link below, which will notify the council of the incident.

Fall Recruitment

Our 2024 Fall Recruitment Campaign is underway! Our schools with early start dates have already had success at the beginning of August and we are excited to see the new families join Scouting over the next few months. As always we have a number of useful marketing items: banners, yard signs, posters, stickers, and the flyer that will be delivered during the School Talk. We also have the Digital Version of the Flyer for your specific sign-up night. Please make sure to share these digital flyers with your current families and on the local neighborhood and community social media pages. Click HERE to view the resources page. If you have any questions or are unsure of the next steps for your recruitment please contact your district staff member by visiting www.mtcscouting.org/contactus.

Thank you for all you have done and continue to do to help ensure the success of Scouting in your community!
