| | | | Giving to the Middle Tennessee Council Endowment | | |
The Executive Board of the Middle TN Council has formed an Endowment Committee to spread awareness of the importance of gifts that will help support Scouting for years to come. In the Council’s 2025 budget, income from the Council Endowment Fund is projected to provide $895,386 to support operating expenses, camp scholarships, financial assistance to Scouts and adults, and property maintenance, among other projects.
The Heritage Society is a leadership giving group that recognizes those who make a $25,000 or more outright gift to the endowment (which can be paid over a five-year period) or a $100,000 or greater planned gift. Endowment and planned gifts are always made in addition to Friends of Scouting gifts, not in place of them.
If you already have the Council in your estate plans as a beneficiary but have not let us know, please do so by completing the Heritage Society pledge form by clicking HERE. Please, email it and any attachments to Linda Carter, Assoc. Development Director, at linda.carter@scouting.org. Linda and members of the Endowment Committee would be happy to talk with you if you would like more information.
Please take a moment to view this video of several Executive Board members who are members of the Heritage Society. Thank you!
