Student of Month Program


Rainier School District is looking for sponsors for its Student of the Month Program. 


The Rainier Chamber Board voted to support one class for the 22-23 school year at their last board meeting.

Hooking for Hunger

Hooking For Hunger is a fun, family-friendly, fishing derby. Fish for Chinook and Coho in the beautiful Columbia River. Then the event moves to the Buccini Hall. There will be cash prizes, a raffle, a silent auction, music, dinner catered by Ixtapa, live music by Cloud Shine, and more at the after-party.


All proceeds go to support the Food Bank’s effort to end food insecurity in Columbia County. Plus, anglers will have the option to donate some or all of their catch to the Food Bank.

Weigh-ins from 2 pm – 4 pm

Dinner served at 5 pm

Days of Caring


United Way of Columbia County (UWCC) is calling for volunteers to sign up for Day of Caring on September 12th 9:00 -1:00 PM to “spruce up” local nonprofits and park sites!


Volunteers will receive water and a light lunch and a satisfying feeling of doing something good for our community. Volunteers may be asked to wear masks during the event, depending on current recommendations from Public Health.
