We had a great day here at Silver Willow for our
14th Annual Buster Day Shoot. Perfect weather, wonderful pork chops for lunch, a good time was had by all.
Our GOLD MEDAL HIGH OVERALL WINNER
was Jason DeJong with a score of 182. Along side Jason is his wife
Isabel who won bronze in both "D" Class and "Ladies" class. Our congratulations go out to both of them and all our winners. Thank you for joining us!

Ladies Learn to Shoot - Sept. 25th
This was once again a sold out event, with 44 ladies who came out to experience the fun and excitement of shooting Sporting Clays at our semi annual Ladies Learn to Shoot. It was an all day affair starting with breakfast, safety orientation, shooting on the green course & a lovely buffet lunch. Following the morning activities the ladies were invited to participate in wine tasting and a little early Christmas shopping at our Trade Show, which featured a variety of local vendors. Coyote Design from Sundre, Holyberry soaps from Carstairs, DoTerra Essential Oils representative Donna from Airdrie, and Bartier Brother Wines from Oliver BC.
First Annual Annie Oakley Ladies Shoot - Sept 25th
This was the first ever Ladies Fun Shoot held at Silver Willow. The group of competitive lady shooters, all enjoyed the challenge of our Blue Course with Ann Neil shooting the high score of the day. Thank you to all the participants, it was wonderful to have the new lady shooters meet the competitive shooters and hear Ann share her shooting story! It was a fantastic day that featured Ghirardelli Chocolate from San Francisco, for the prizes. The afternoon featured all sorts of exciting door prizes. The "grand" door prize was a free private lesson with Luther Cutts, it was won by our youngest shooter of the day, Paige.

Bob Ferguson
Bob started shooting when he was about twelve years old with his father and grandfather.
In his early adulthood he pursued other outdoor activities until about 12 years ago when he discovered Sporting Clays. Bob shot regularly and competed before he took the the NSCA instructor's course and has been instructing for the past eight years.
Bob has now
shot competitively for a number of years at the Master class level. However, instructing for Bob has been his highlight. He finds it very satisfying to see the excitement in people when they hit their first target.

Want to improve your score or just learning the sport?
Private and semi private lessons are available at $100.00 per hour for one person or $110 per hour for two people. Gun rental, ammo and clays are extra. A minimum of 1.5 hours per lesson is recommended. Check out our website page under education then instruction, for all the details.

Membership Changes @ Silver Willow

Offering the best possible customer service is critically important to us here at Silver Willow. To that end, starting as early as 2017 we will begin limiting the number of memberships sold and a wait list will be created once that maximum is reached. Access to Silver Willow will only to be available to members and their guests at that point. Insuring quality service, booking availability and ultimate safety are among our top reasons for this change.
If you haven't renewed your Silver Willow membership yet, no problem, renew today quickly and easily online and avoid missing any of your membership benefits.
New Memberships and Renewals will be pro - rated to March 1, 2017.
***If you've been thinking about a membership this is a great time to enjoy the privileges of membership at the pro-rated price of $94.50 for Oct to March. It's a one time offer and only going to happen for this fall, so join in and get a great deal!!
