Bob Walk Comes To NBC

The guys at NBC invite any interested men and women to attend our August 1st meeting at which our featured speaker will be Bob Walk, famous Pirates ex-pitcher and more recently Pirates sportscaster and game analyst. We have been fortunate to have had Bob speak to us almost annually for many years now, and his visit is alway our biggest draw. If you're interested in baseball, or if you just like an interesting presentation, we welcome you to join us on Tuesday, August 1st, from 9am to 10am in Polley Fellowship Hall. This summer we will look at where we see encouragement in our faith outside the Bible, by looking at song lyrics, poems and short stories that have encouraged us to live in faith. I need your help, think about songs, poems and short stories in your life that you have come across that have inspired your faith. Friday, July 21, the Pittsburgh Concert Chorale presents Music of the 80's as part of Summer Fridays at the Frick, a free, family friendly event that includes food trucks and tours of the Car and Carriage Museum. Gates open at 5pm, concert starts at 6:30. For more information, visit
