Pastors' Conference
Comunidade de Vinhedo, SP Brazil
 Tuesday & Wednesday  November 12-13 2019
We had just enjoyed our grandson Luca's 1st birthday in Kansas City and with Thanksgiving just a few weeks away, we headed back to Brazil arriving Monday just in time to be part of the Comunidade de Vinhedo's  1st pastors' conference.  Pastor Luis and his wife Adriana birthed the ministry 20 years ago and now they have over 45 pastors in several states with many churches started from this ministry. Pastor Luis flew in from Canada where they just recently relocated to begin a new work there. We have such a strong connection with Pastor Luis and Pastor Renato (who took the leadership reigns on the Brazil side) that we felt strongly to make the journey back to Brazil from the States even if it was just to be part of this two-day event.

on the right is introducing the speaker Pastor Frank who came from Canada to be in attendance. On the left are the new lead pastors Renato and Michelle.

Débora and my heart desired to just to be present and support this great organization with these amazing pastors. Great things are happening in Brazil and this church fellowship is being used by God in mighty ways. We had no expectation to preach in anyway. On the first day, they asked Débora and I to take a session, we ended up doing two.We taught on "The Principles of the Kingdom of God." The second day, they asked us to close the meeting taking the last two sessions of the conference.  We spoke on "The Methods of the Kingdom of God: Patterning ourselves for Revival"

Pastor Frank from Canada had so much wisdom and insight to release to all of us present. The entirety of the conference was reflective of the excitement of this 1st gathering of the pastors as well as an anticipation that great breakthrough is before us as we enter into 2020 as we trust in A GREAT move of God to spread throughout Brazil.

As Débora and I were given the last two sessions to close the conference, the atmosphere was thick with God's Presence. Pastor Renato was in tears 30 seconds into the session. He told us afterwards that he couldn't contain it. "I felt so much of the Presence of God."

This is not a cliche saying, but the reality is that the Holy Spirit was ministering in such powerful ways. The air was heavy with the beauty of the Presence of the Lord. The finger of the Holy Spirit was stiring the hearts of these pastors. We followed with a time of prayer as the pastors prayed for each other. After this we laid hands on all those present and a great wave of glory swept the room. Below are a few pictures of the pastors praying over each other. You can see the passion and sincerity in which they intercede over one another.

Sunday November 17th

1 Salvation
1 Re-dedication to Jesus

Above Photos: Preaching at Cristo é a Vida Church in Sumaré.

God did some amazing things. Of all miracles, salvation is the GREATESTl. Eternity is forever!

A few testimonies from this meeting...

Above Photo Left: An invitation was given to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The room was quiet, no response. We waited for some moments and this man steps out of his seat and walks alone to the front to give his life to Jesus. WOW! This was a most beautiful and holy moment.

Above Photo Right: After praying and leading this man to Christ, this woman comes forward and re-dedicates her life to Jesus. AMAZING!

-------

After the altar call for salvation, we prayed for physical healing. What I like about smaller churches is that you can take the time to pray one-on-one for the issues and the whole church can see the healings happen before them.

God healed and restored the nerves and mobility in her hands.

Above two Photos: This woman's hand had gone through plate glass that severed her nerves. Her wrists and hands bore the scares of the accident and surgeries. Her left hand was not able to open and close. God restored the use of  both wrists and hands and she could freely do anything with all pain gone.
Her tears expressed the shock, awe and gratitude to the Lord.

-------

Above Left Photo: This women had severe pain and back issues from her scoliosis. Her spine was in an S shape.  As well, she had a herniated disc and arthritis.  As we prayed we asked the Lord that she would dance for him in her healing. As the power of God so gloriously touched this woman she began to twirl as a ballerina. Afterwards, as she waded through the emotions, she declared she was healed. There was a medical practitioner there who was part of the congregation and was aware of this woman's medical issues. She examined the woman there on the spot and gave medical witness that the spine was completely straight.

Several weeks later, the woman sent us a message on Facebook saying she is still 100% healed and is dancing for the Lord.
PRAISE GOD!!!!

Above Right Photo: This boy was mute and had not spoken before. We prayed for him and he gave a beautiful smile. He made a few small sounds. We did not see in this moment the release of his tongue. We continue to pray and believe that God will do a miracle in his life. There are many things we don't understand. The results are always up to God as we are always called to pray and believe. Please pray for this young boy and for his miracle to come to pass.
Curitiba, Parina Brazil
  November 19-21

Above Photo: Pastoral leadership team from Família dos Que Creem in Curitiba at their new church facility.

We met pastor Leandro Vieira (far right) several months back at a conference in another state. We hit it off right away and he said if we were ever in Curitiba to look him up. Well, it just so happened we had just recently booked tickets to fly to Curitiba to visit a children's home. We immediately saw God's hand in this.

Pastor Leandro picked us up from the airport and we went to a coffee shop where he had his church leadership staff (pictured above waiting to meet us and have coffee together). I just love Brazilian hospitality! As we talked more and we shared about our purpose for being in Curitiba was to visit an orphange.  He shared how his church is connected to a local children's home which one of the men on his church's leadership team (not in picture) helps run.  He also shared with us that prior to being an itinerant evangelist and pastoring the church plant, he himself worked for 10 years in this local children's home. He graciously made arrangements for us to go the next day.   Now we had two places visit. God is AMAZING!!!

1st Visit

Above Photo: At the entrance to the children's home that Pastor Leandro arranged for us to visit.

This place has been active for over 35 years. They have about 60 young children. We received a personal tour of all the facilities and learned so much. They were just getting ready to have a planning session and invited us to sit in. What a blessing it was.

2nd Visit in Curitiba
The second children's home (which is the reason we originally flew to Curitiba) we visited is established for 20 babies through toddler age. Brazilian law states that there must be 1 full time counselor and 1 full time phycologist for each 20 children, so due to budget reasons they are capped at 20. We received an incredible amount of information and advice. This ministry was founded 40 years ago by a group of local businessmen and is continuing to this day. The director gave us a book that was written specifically for children's homes to navigate the laws and protocols in Brazil. We could not have been more impressed at the organization and level of excellence established in this place. It most definitely was worth the time and effort to go visit this home.
"HOLY FIRE" Event
Comunidade Actos
Porto Feliz, SP Brazil
Thursday November 21, 2019

190 people activated

Thursday Night Ablaze!
We flew flew back from Curitiba to our city and within a few hours we drove to the city of Porto Feliz for this amazing evening "Holy Fire" service.

Above Photo: We held our 3rd "Holy Fire" event on this Thursday night.    190 were present with an expectancy and an anticipation of receiving the "Flame" of Holy Spirit.

It's heaven's mandate for the glory of God too manifest on earth through believers.  The apostle Paul said, I did not come with wise and persuasive words, but with the demonstration of the Holy Spirit and Power.  Sermons are great, but God's design is for the Presence and Power of the Holy Spirit to accompany the Word in signs, wonders and miracles. Every believer has heaven's mandate and ability to carry and live in the power of the Holy Spirit.
We must intentionally seek and pursue the deeper things of God!

A HOLY FIRE TESTIMONY...
"As we were praying and and believing for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in this meeting I was caught up In a vision. I saw Jesus dancing through the people as we were all in the atmosphere of an open heaven.  As the spirit came upon me, I was slain in the Spirit. Something happened to me, I felt myself leave my body, I can not explain.  Several days after the "Holy Fire" night and this vision, I felt as if I was on an anesthetic.  On the earth but not part of the earth. I can't put into words. The Power of the Holy Spirit so came upon me I was on another plain, not of this world."

Débora's Column

The 2 weeks we went back to Brazil for were crazy and amazing. We went straight to the pastors' conference and did not stop till we boarded the plane back to the US.
We were able to minister so many times, make new friends, visit the children's homes, see some of our best friends and even squeezed a couple of days with family.
Its is amazing how God ordains times, even when they seem like they didn't go as planned, but His plan all along was better. Our visit to Curitiba was to visit a specific children's home with a couple of people that cancelled the day before our trip was scheduled. With such short notice, we didn't even know if we were going to be able to do anything we had hoped to. We still felt that we needed to go ahead, so we went. God had amazing plans. We spent the whole day with Pr Leandro and some of the church staff and even ended up being able to visit another children's organization. Thank God for the change of plans!
His ways are higher.
It was such an honor to tour the homes and to glean so much knowledge and insight from individuals that have been serving and fighting on behalf of the vulnerable  children of Brazil. What a humbling experience.
The closer we get to the green light for Sozo, the more I tremble with the realization of the responsibility and scope of what it all entails. We definitely need to learn from the wisdom of those who have been doing this work for so long, and doing it well.
I'm so grateful for the people God has put in our paths.
We look forward to what is in store for 2020. My prayer is that we are positioned for all that He has for us and that we are faithful to what He has called us to. I want to serve with joy, with excellence and with effectiveness.
I pray that 2020 for you is a year of breakthrough and forward movement. That things that feel 'stuck', will be propelled and moved.
Be expectant of what God has prepared for you.
He is good and He has good things planned.
I love and appreciate you all so much!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Think you've see it all?

While at the mall in Curitiba this is what we ran into.
Tragedy in Campos do Jordão

Campos do Jordão is a region with hills and valleys. Many poor communities are built on these steep hillsides without proper permits and engineering.

On December 14th, heavy rains caused mud slides. One family lost 3 people and in another neighborhood a 1 year old baby died and the parents were wounded. Entire homes were buried under all the mud and debris.

As many of you know, Campos do Jordão will be the home of Sozo Mountain Children's Home. This is the city where the Church of the Harvest in Olathe came and did a mission's week with us in March of 2017.

Happenings with Sozo Mountain Children's Home
As you read in the last news letter.  We have once again re filed the paperwork for the Sozo Mountain project.

This month December, they have asked for one final thing again.  They have asked us to provide and apostile from the States.  Brazil and the United States are part of this global agreement that over 40 countries are part of in which corporations and organiztions can legally work within the boundaries of another members country.

So as the Christmas season and New Year wind down we are working to satisfy this request.  The Government office in Brazil has assured our Lawyer that this is the last item they will request.  I know we have heard this serval times now, but we are trusting this will be it and we will have legal status early on into 2020.

Thank you for your continued prayers, love and support.

A YEAR-END THANK YOU
We are just a few days away from the end of the year.  We want to thank all of you for your generous love and support.  The things you read in these newsletters could not have been possible without your participation.  We have seen many, many, many lives saved, healed and restored by the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  The results are amazing.  In case you missed any of the e-newsletters there is a link below to the newsletter archives.

LINK  Check out the amazing things that took place this past year.

As we close out 2019 and step into 2020, we continue to trust in the Lord and believe that the needs of the ministry will be met. God is faithful and He works through people.  It's always so amazing to us as we witness this truth in action everyday in the ministry.

As the year ends and if you are looking for opportunities for year-end giving we would love for you to consider the All Nations Ministry as we get ready for another amazing year to come in Brazil.

Thank you so much.
