We enjoyed a great evening together with Evangelist Rafael Conrado in Kansas City at the Healing House meeting. We had an informal house meeting in which 17 people were activated. We are all impacted by the power of the Holy Spirit when we position ourselves to receive from the Lord. Eternity records from this moment forward in each life the level of divine activity thats released from our lives when we represent Christ in all matters.

After the service was over, this man's mom wheeled him towards us and asked for prayer for her son. He was just released from the hospital after spending 40 days laid up in the bed. The doctors sent him home with nothing more they could do saying that he had anywhere from a few months to live to the end of the year maximum. His colon cancer has spread throughout. He was extremely lethargic, very weak and in a wheel chair.

We prayed the prayer of faith and declared life over him for 10-15 minutes. The power of the Holy Spirit became evident over his body and countenance as we interceded and his family watched the transformation happening.

Faith began to build as changes were happening. He began to speak saying strength was coming into his bones. The above picture is the after the time of prayer. His countenance is completely different than the despair and hopelessness he had before when he was wheeled in. He walked out pushing his wheel chair. PRAISE JESUS!!!!!!

Sunday Night was an amazing and powerful moment. In the atmosphere of the glory of the God, words cannot duplicate Presence. Waves of the Holy Spirit were moving throughout the service touching everyone present. It was a time of activation and renewal.

We have taken some input from people in Brazil in Regard to the Name of the HOLY FIRE events that we are purposed to do in 2020.

The consensus is that the name

"ACTIVATE"

is a better reflection of these events and its purposes of impartation, activation and the baptism of the Holy Spriit.

Débora's Column

I LOVE spending Christmas in Kansas City with our family and I also LOVE the cold! We are so blessed with our girls, our sons-in-law, Luca, and now Sophia's boyfriend Kyle.

We always have an amazing and sweet time when we are all together. It is such a blessing to watch the kids being friends and enjoying being with each other.

Also, being a grandparent is probably the best thing in the world! We got to take care of Luca (14 months old) for 6 days while mark and Bella were on a trip and it was so much fun. We were exhausted (the little guy gets up around 5:30 am and goes non-stop pretty much the rest of the day), but we had the best time with him. He was so good, so polite, and so sweet. He wanted to eat and read books all day long.

We love him so much!

In early January we got to take a road trip and visit some family and friends in Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina and Maryland.

We had the best time!

And just like that, our time in the US went by so fast and we are back in Brazil.

Someone asked me just the other day if one country feels more like "home" than the other. I stopped for a second and my answer was that right now I feel as though I belong in 2 different places. Our lives are completely different in the US and in Brazil, but we are the same people and its not always easy (actually for me its quite hard at times), but we pray to make the most of it and to fulfill our purpose wherever we are. That question really made me think about how amazing God is. Years ago I would have said that the US was home, and that Brazil was where I was born and liked to visit. Today, my heart is fully here in Brazil and I feel so blessed to be able to be here. Life looks nothing like what I dreamed of or envisioned, but it is WAY better than I could have imagined. Even in the hard times, I see God's goodness, His provision, His leading and I feel His love. There are days where I feel my chest tightening up if I think of my kids, Luca and our family. I miss them and I never wanted to be so physically far away, but even if I cry or feel sadness, I know that God has a good and perfect plan. I have no idea what tomorrow holds, and I want to be where He wants me and I want to fulfill His purpose for my life. The cost seems HUGE at times, but He paid for my life with His life. Saying Yes to a life led by the Holy Spirit will bring about the best that God has for you.

We've already had some great experiences being here just for about 2 1/2 weeks and there is a lot more to come in the next weeks. I love seeing people touched by the love and power of Jesus. It is an honor to serve and to be able to play a small part in what God is doing here in Brazil.

Our niece Danielle is here with us, and she is fitting right in. Enjoying the beautiful weather, the food and the late nights. She also says she loves how welcoming people are and how much time is spent around the table in fellowship. Brazilians are really good at making you feel right at home and feeding you :)

Welcome to Brazil

MIRACLE BOY...

Above Photo: At the Activate Conference this woman approached us and shared her testimony. She said that in 2018 when we preached there at the church we prayed for her to be able to have children after many years of trying without success. This boy is the result of that prayer in 2018. WOW! That's AMAZING!!!!

The simple heart of a child...

Above Photo: This boy fell on the day of the service and he asked for prayer for his neck. The next day he came to the church with a gift for us. His parents said he went through his room trying to figure out what he could give. He gave Michel a comb, a key chain and some change. He gave Débora an eraser, a mini rubber car and a notebook. PRECIOUS HEART!

GOD ALIGNED ENCOUNTERS

We came on time to the meeting and no seats were available. The place was over capacity. We were way in the back against the wall. The daughter of the organizer of this meeting recognized us from the "Activate Conference in Vinhedo. She insisted we come to the front and she sat us on the 2nd row of the Reserved section. TOTALLY UNEXPECTED.

After the meeting a women and her husband (pic below) came up to us and told us that they remembered us from several years back when we preached in their city of Limeira, SP Brazil. She said, that they were just recently thinking about us because they want to start preparing for a crusade there. LOVE IT!

After that another woman approached Débora and gave her a big hug. She told us she remembered us from 5 years ago when we did a crusade in Rio Claro, Brazil. We were so shocked because that city is a few hours away and it was quite a while ago. She said that she now works for the MEVAM organization regional office in Campinas who hosted this pastor's breakfast. HOW AWESOME IS THAT!

We are always excited to see how God makes divine connections as we walk out the ministry here in Brazil by faith.

We know that one of our purposes here is to influence and encourage leaders in Brazil.

Definitely God connections are happening here. AMAZING!

THE SEND BRAZIL

On February 8th, 2020 for 12 hours straight in the hot sun and moments of rain, 3 stadiums in Brazil were simultaneously filled with over 140,000 youth. Over 180 speakers were involved in this unprecedented move of God. The scope of what took place on this day is a breakthrough moment for revival in Brazil. It is happening NOW!
