We ARE making a difference in the community!

At H.O.P.E. for Animals it is our MISSION to eliminate the preventable euthanasia of companion animals and community cats by providing
high-quality low-cost spay/neuter and wellness services, by supporting rescue and by promoting responsible pet ownership.

How We Help Pets & People In Need
"We love H.O.P.E. for animals! Everyone is super friendly and takes care of my fur baby.
As a full-time graduate student, I couldn't afford to spend $150-200 for yearly shots for my
dog and H.O.P.E. for animals were always there in the past 3 years. Thank you guys for everything you do. Your hard work helps many animals and their owners during the hard times.
You all are the best!!!"

#SpayTogether at H.O.P.E. for Animals
A big thank you to The Humane Society of the United States - Indiana for providing H.O.P.E. for Animals with the #SpayTogether grant!

With this grant H.O.P.E. for Animals will
be able to provide reduced cost spay/neuter services to pets of families
in financial need.

Check our Facebook page for weekly updates on the families and their pets
that were helped through the #SpayTogether grant!
Join us at H.O.P.E. for Animals for our annual community service project/shelter building day! The annual Feline Fall Festival, presented by PROFED Federal Credit Union will be held (socially distanced of course) on Saturday, October 3rd at H.O.P.E. for Animals from 10 am – 12 noon. This is a FREE event and all ages are welcome. Masks are required to participate. Shelter building is done outdoors so please dress accordingly.
The Feline Fall Festival is a truly unique event where volunteers team together to assemble hundreds of outdoor shelters for unowned community cats. Learn how to safely and humanely trap, transport, and release cats as part of the TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) program. Bring the kids along, they love to help too! While you are here, be sure to get a “behind the scenes” tour of H.O.P.E. for Animals and warm up with some hot cocoa or coffee as a thank you for helping!

Volunteers are welcome to take a shelter or two home while they are here, and the remaining shelters are distributed throughout the winter months at H.O.P.E. for Animals. These shelters are offered at no charge, but donations are encouraged and appreciated. All gifts received at the event support the Community Cat Program and provide funds to purchase supplies for additional shelter-builds.
Employee Spotlight: Alli
Alli is one of our Vet Assistants and helps with shelter animal transportation here at H.O.P.E. for Animals! She has only been here for about three months, but she is great at what she does and we are so happy to have her!

Being a Vet Assistant, Alli said that handling the animals is her favorite part of the job. She likes the challenge of the more difficult parts of her job like trimming a cat's nails or cleaning their ears! Along with taking care of the animals, Alli enjoys working with the customers and her fellow coworkers.

At home, Alli has one dog and two cats. Rigley is her 8-year-old Golden Retriever. He is her emotional support animal and just a really good boy! Then there is Oliver, a 4-year-old brown tabby, and Hitch, a 14-year-old orange tabby. Along with Alli's pets, her roommates also have some small creatures. So whether she is at work or at home, Alli is surrounded by the animals she loves!

In her free time, Alli loves to travel and go camping. She also really enjoys concerts and festivals. Usually she will go to at least one festival a year and multiple concerts. Unfortunately, due to COVID, she hasn't been able to do much of that this year, but once things are open again, she'll definitely be attending!

We LOVE having Alli as a part of the H.O.P.E. team and there is never a dull day when she is around! We aPURRciate you, Alli!
