A PERSONAL NOTE

Something interesting has happened recently that I’d like to share.
In response to my query about an unusual aspect I saw in my horoscope, an astrological colleague unexpectedly predicted that I’d be taking a whole new path by the Spring, “a new beginning.” It would entail, she said, a long cycle for recognition and leadership in communications, someone from my past, doing research and finding a mentor, and “getting a book out there.” Well, since I already have two books “out there” that are languishing on Amazon, I couldn’t fathom what this could be. At this stage of the game, I didn’t think I’d be up for writing yet another book (!) so maybe the prediction was pushing me in the direction of doing better marketing of the existing ones.
Towards that end, I posted a request on LinkedIn for a literary agent in my metaphysical niche.
Lo and behold, two days later someone from my past contacted me, offering to mentor me for free in using all kinds of available services on the internet including AI to create ways to market my work. The thing is, she’s a psychic* like me, and very spiritual… and the last person I would have thought would be a maven in this technology… but she told me her spirit guide, the Catholic saint Mother Mary, told her to reach out and do this for me! Wow!
She then proceeded to do an hour-and-a-half Zoom tutorial, giving me tons of tips on how to set up, monetize, do a video, and do a script for my items on YouTube, and then she even created a one-minute video of my second book, The Wisdom Keys, in fifteen minutes. I was amazed and also daunted. However, in doing follow-up research, I realized that there’s also another way I could go, which would be to turn my work into audiobooks on Amazon’s Audible app.
Right now, my head is spinning. I hardly know how – or if – I’ll proceed down this road. I’ll probably need all the tech assistance I can get if I do so. But the nature of how all this came about, the things I’ve been told and the guidance I’ve received, makes me think that the Universe and my Guides want something new to happen in disseminating their words, and that I should step to the plate and at least give some of this a try.

ASTRO TIDBITS - DEC. 2024
The World sees a rush of energy at month’s start (Mars SR trine NN). Week 1 indicates excellent aspects for both deeper spirituality and better values, together helping to improve economies (Neptune SD sextile Venus; Pluto conjunct Venus). Mid-month can be hectic, bringing new patterns regarding gold and/or independence (Full Moon in Taurus conjunct Uranus exact). Pacing slows down by Week 4 (Saturn square Jupiter).
The U.S. begins the month with a fresh start and high energy that can benefit a strong military and motivate innovation and invention (U.S. p2 Moon into Aries; Jupiter trine U.S. p2 Mars; Uranus sextile U.S. p2 NN; Mars SR conjunct U.S. NN, sextile U.S. p2 Uranus). Higher consciousness is activated too (Neptune SD trine U.S. PF, sextile U.S. Pluto exact). Week 2 brings long-term plans for stability and responsibility (Saturn trine U.S. Sun), along with exciting news and new ideas, perhaps even big changes regarding the media (Uranus sextile Mercury). In Week 3, business should pick up (Jupiter trine U.S. Saturn). The focus is on the homeland by month’s end (U.S. p2 Moon conjunct U.S. IC). We are at the start of a rebirth for the nation, perhaps a “restored republic” (Pluto trine U.S. MC).
President-Elect Donald Trump sees an open avenue to his life’s mission in Week 1 (Jupiter conjunct his p2 NN). From the 6th-8th, he will be super busy, undergoing inner healing, and moving households (Mars SR conjunct his p2 MC, sextile his Neptune; Neptune SD qnx his Mars). He has a new title or role, and maybe a new image (Uranus conjunct his MC). In Week 3, his energy booms (Jupiter trine his p2 Mars) and by Week 4 he feels as if he is breaking free (Uranus sextile his Saturn).
Kamala Harris spends the latter part of the month stressed and under great pressure regarding all types of communications (Pluto square her Mercury). She is angry and feels trapped (Mars square her p2 MC; Saturn opposite her Uranus).
The Democratic Party has been undergoing huge changes regarding its role and identity (Pluto triggering Grand Cardinal Cross involving its Uranus in H10 and ASC), and must now reevaluate its mission (Pluto square its NN).

Book Review: “The Message of the Sphinx: A Quest for the Hidden Legacy of Mankind”, by Graham Hancock & Robert Bauval (Three Rivers Press, 1996)
Author Hancock purports to show that the Sphinx is intimately connected to ancient Egyptian religious belief that linked the celestial patterns of constellations to the earthly expression of such, as embodied in the Pharaoh and the Giza necropolis.
Using computers to recreate ancient skies (especially the Sun’s path along the ecliptic, and the 26,000-year journey of the Precessions, aka Ages), and relying on geological and archeological data analysis, he proposes a brilliant theory that the Sphinx, pyramids, and causeways of the Giza plateau were designed to replicate one particular part of the sky, called the Duat. This was the area in which the figure of Orion with his three belt stars, who represented the god Osiris, was observed to “cross” the Milky Way over time. On Earth, the Pharaoh (the Horus-King) had to copy this journey by crossing the river Nile (literally, in a boat), and upon his death, to ascend to the heavens, answer key questions, and ultimately merge with Osiris/Orion. The Pharaoh was believed to be divine.
Using many diagrams of solstitial, equinoctial, and other significant celestial patterns, we are shown that the Sphinx, the pyramid shafts and layout, and the causeways all point to the constellation Leo around 10,500 BC. “The images of sky and ground match perfectly at 10,500 BC and in no other epoch.” This time-table shows that the leonine Sphinx, and at least the blueprint for the pyramids (even if the pyramids were not finished until 2,500 BC), are much more ancient than modern Egyptologists favor; records speak of a very early time, Zep Tepi, the First Time, during which this cosmic belief system was laid down, and after which certain figures called the Followers of Horus established its rules and created a structure that was thereafter copied by priests (an unseen academy) throughout the continuing ages.
By this concept of sky mirroring earth, Hancock contends that the ancient Egyptian goal of uniting the two kingdoms was not merely the joining of Upper and Lower Nile, which was accomplished at the beginning of dynastic Egypt, but the uniting of the heavens with the mortal realm. As above, so below. Earth and sky as one.
I couldn’t help noticing that, although mention of astrology is only done twice in this book, almost as throwaway points, as soon as observation of celestial events (astronomy) is correlated with human occurrences, it becomes, by definition, astrology. My own opinion is that the ancient Egyptian theology was based on what is now called astrology, that is, when something happens in the sky to planets, sun, or stars, it directly affects earthly happenings.
Further discussion entails the possibility of a Hall of Records hidden underneath the Sphinx, as revealed by the psychic Edgar Cayce, and the extensive, as-yet-unsuccessful modern efforts to discover it by the Cayce Foundation and others.
Hancock ends with the proposal that the Sphinx’s attributes might in fact be a message across time for our current era, a mathematical and astronomical equation that could presage a ‘Last Time’, a new messiah or new cataclysm! “Is the ‘device’ about to reactivate itself?”, he ends with.
Dense, dazzling, thought-provoking. 5 stars.

DEALING WITH UNCERTAINTY
Please give a message for the December newsletter for my readers.
If you are reading or listening to us now, we want to tell you that all is well and satisfactory. There is no error or glitch that has occurred but that all is proceeding as intended, as desired. Even if the world or your immediate surroundings may seem disheveled, or less structured, or uncertain, that does not mean that, in truth and behind the scenes, all is not proceeding as intended and with organization.
In fact, whenever one finds oneself in times of chaos or in situations that are uncertain, the cure or antidote is always to control one’s personal space. This is the boundary of one's reality anyhow. Personal space does not refer only to that which surrounds you physically, materially, but is also the personal space in which you reside in your thoughts. It is known by many now that one's thoughts create one's reality. It is no doubt difficult to control one's thoughts when exterior life is turbulent. However, it is the strong acceleration of evolution during this era that pushes one into learning how to control thoughts and thereby control emotions. It is never the reverse, that is, to be in serenity and find oneself in an accelerating growth period because serenity brings contentment and that is, in essence, the opposite of growth.
So, find yourself instead reveling in a time full of challenges but also great opportunities. Moderate your personal space and align your thoughts with optimism or at least with neutrality. As you peer at the world from within such beneficial thoughts, you will see the broad picture of humanity evolving in consciousness and working through the transitional restructuring. This viewpoint helps to allay fear and survive uncertainty.
We say that all is well, for the future holds much gain for individuals as well as for societies and nations. Nor will the other kingdoms be left behind, by which we mean the animal kingdom and even plants and nature and minerals. All this, and everywhere, is receiving enlightenment.
This era might come to be called The Enlightenment as previously one was called The Renaissance. Look ahead, not behind. Look within, not outside. Look upon your luck to have been born and be alive in these extraordinary times.
