A PERSONAL NOTE

We’ve had this conversation before, but I'll address it again. There are a lot of threats against America and against Western Civilization now - drug cartels, fake news (which will be ending once Neptune leaves Pisces for good soon), and corrupt politicians. And it's Islam which has been very vocal and specific about wanting to destroy America and the West. Meanwhile, we are at the turn of an Age and of a Yuga, both of which portend and predict higher values and a more enlightened society - the vaunted New Human or New Earth.

How will these two opposing things coexist?

When we look at the age of Aquarius, for one, we use keywords that fit this sign, that being brotherhood, equality, friendliness, humanitarianism, the group mind, and scientific innovation. As it happens, none of these keywords (concepts) match Islam. Islam seems to be the antithesis of the Age’s meaning. It upholds patriarchy (not equality), submission of women (not equality), rejection of every other belief system (infidels), imposition of its ideology on every other form of government (jihad), and very harsh and severe punishments such as beheadings (Sharia law). All in all, it just doesn’t fit with the new age.

This strikes me as significant because in each new age an older religion is replaced or diminished by some new belief system. That’s just fact!

So, it seems to me that something has to give. If the new enlightened energy patterns are forecasted, then whatever now conflicts with that direction will eventually be eclipsed. Who now believes in Zeus/Jupiter and the entire pagan pantheon that was foremost during the Age of Aries / Kali Yuga? The Piscean Age is coming to an end too. What will endure after our era of great transition?

I can’t help being optimistic about the outcome. An Age lasts 2,160 years. Nothing can stop the Aquarian Age or the new (Dvapara) Yuga. Alignments change, bringing with them new energy patterns. The trend is upwards, towards greater awareness and better values than our dark age. The illuminated breakthrough may not happen in our lifetimes but will certainly come about eventually. That’s the good news, and we should stay positive.

ASTRO TIDBITS - DECEMBER 2025

The World begins the month with pleasant and sociable feelings in a good business climate (Full Moon conjunct Venus; Saturn trine Jupiter). There is a continuing flow towards greater awareness and the push towards peace but still the spell of delusion (Venus square NN; Neptune SD at 29 Pisces). By mid-month, some discouragement vies with a dramatic change of thinking (Mars square Neptune; Pluto sextile Mercury). Week 3 sees a positive new start regarding travel and ideologies (New Moon in Sag conjunct Venus) but Week 4 indicates excessive idealism (Venus square Neptune).

The U.S. finds Week 1 to be full of sudden belligerence forcing new patterns regarding an aggressive enemy (Mars square U.S. p2 Sun, opposite U.S. Mars; Full Moon conjunct U.S. Uranus/DSC/Mars in H7). Emotions will run very high, yet the energy is great for treaties, plans, and talks (U.S. p2 Moon square U.S. p2 Jupiter; Jupiter conjunct U.S. Mercury). Week 2 feels uncertain regarding fake news and homeland security (Neptune SD conjunct U.S. IC). Actions are well-paced in Week 3, with a new start for handling responsibilities towards group goals (Mars sextile U.S. p2 Saturn; New Moon in Sag conjunct U.S. p2 Saturn in H11). Week 4 shows confidence from military strength along with hope and inspiration despite restrictions (Mars opposite U.S. Jupiter, trine U.S. p2 ASC; Pluto square U.S. Saturn). The end of a delusion is near, and brilliant successes through innovation are at hand (U.S. p2 Saturn opposite U.S. Neptune; U.S. MC conjunct U.S Uranus).

President Trump enjoys acclaim in Week 2 even as he battles a big conflict (Jupiter sextile his MC; Mars opposite his p2 Uranus/Sun). By Week 2 he is tough, sensible, and feels invincible (Mars trines his Mars, sextiles his p2 Jupiter; Jupiter conjuncts his Saturn). His focus in Week 3 is on home/homeland/family/females, and he feels healthy and strong (New Moon conjunct his Moon in H4; Mars trines his ASC, sextiles his p2 ASC). Month’s end finds him hale and hearty, thrifty, and serious about financial goals (Mars trine his p2 Sun; Saturn trine his Venus).

Israel may suffer sudden explosions (Uranus square its Mars, trine its p2 Moon) but will turn its attention towards business and commerce (its p2 ASC entered Capricorn; its p2 Venus conjuncts its p2 Uranus in H2; New Moon conjunct its Jupiter in H2).

Ilhan Omar sees the end of a dream and will likely be deported (Saturn square her p2 Neptune; Uranus conjunct her p2 IC, opposite her Uranus).

Book Review: “The Sign and the Seal,” by Graham Hancock (Touchstone, 1992)

Risking his life in dangerous war-torn places, never ceasing to abandon his quest, our intrepid author follows his obsession through several countries to find the enigmatically lost Ark of the Covenant before ultimately succeeding… or does he?

From 1983 to 1991, Hancock tasks himself with solving the mystery of the disappearance of the powerful and unpredictable biblical artifact, but unlike Indiana Jones his journey is not swashbuckling but rather intellectual and investigative. He traces a legend linking King Solomon, the Queen of Sheba, and the Ark's journey to Ethiopia, finds clues in a Cathedral of Chartres carving, studies the medieval poem Parzival that references the Holy Grail quest, and notes the Knights Templar's presence in Ethiopia, concluding that the Ark's location can be uncovered today.

“As readable as a first-class detective story,” says a front-page quote. With each new clue leading to ever-new hypotheses, Hancock travels to many implicated lands (sometimes at personal risk) and calls in favors from his varied academic and political contacts, first tracing the route taken by ancient Jewish communities escaping oppression, then visiting the remnants of their lineage and observing their enduring ceremonies, and finally concluding that the actual Ark of the Covenant remains in a distinct building in a place called Axum, Ethiopia, there guarded day and night by a special priest. Throughout the journey, several notable findings emerge, such as evidence of pre-Second Temple Judaic customs—including animal sacrifices—the incorporation of Judaic elements into certain later Christian ceremonies, distinctive Knights Templar crosses located at significant ruins, and documents attributed to an earlier Scottish nobleman who undertook Hancock’s route while pursuing the same objective.

After the expedition, Hancock endearingly faces his own vanities, digs deeply into his motives, and reaches a rather spiritual insight. Does he ever actually get to see “the Holy of Holies”? No. Only replicas. The journey, it turns out, was the destination! (And a best-seller at that!) – 5 stars.

CHANGING TIMES

There is much to be said about the current era. It is a time like no other. Things are changing rapidly, not only on the exterior level but within, on the mental level. People’s behavior will reflect these enormous changes. Some people cannot adapt quickly enough and will remain rooted in old ways and old thinking. This creates confusion and great anxiety because the world does not seem safe or comprehensible. On the other hand, there are people who thrive on change, seeing it as necessary progress.

There are changes in values. There are new insights into how reality is constructed - this is happening not only through greater psychological and spiritual awareness but also through scientific discoveries (quantum physics). The people who are ready and desirous of rapid change are building a new society. This does not necessarily conform to previous expectations. And therefore, a transition that feels weird, uncomfortable, out of place, and somehow even dangerous is stirring.

Just because it feels this way does not necessarily mean that that is the truth of things. Insights regarding how the world is structured, who is ruling and who is submitting, and what tools are available to enhance the changes are also in play.

You will see this rapid acceleration gradually in the news you are shown, in the innovations being brought into play, and in the very different attitudes and abilities of the newer, younger generations. It is as though a yoke of untruth is being thrown off, and a crystal-clear understanding is resulting. As said, this can be very disturbing to some but very energizing to others.

We do not say you must choose which to adhere to right away. There is time to adjust, and time is a factor. Everything must play out or develop in due time, and you will have time to decide what world you want to live in, and what reality you choose to believe in.

Once again, we say life is a game and the best players grasp the right strategy. Good luck playing!
