This is a time of uncertainty. Most of the whole world feels this uncertainty. Uncertainty is difficult to live with. We want to feel in control, we want to plan ahead, we want to know what’s coming and how to prepare. But we don’t have that luxury at this moment.
At times lately I’ve felt a sense of great calm. But then it switches to anxiety. Have you felt this way too? So, what to do? How should we cope?
I once read a book by a female Buddhist monk, Pema Chodron, called “Comfortable with Uncertainty: 108 Teachings on Cultivating Fearlessness and Compassion”. She looked at this type of experience as a great challenge but one to be used to center oneself in (a) faith in a benign universe and (b) in one’s heart. In times of turbulence and doubt, there is a healing power in finding the soft spot in the heart that tenderly feels others’ pain, identifies with the human condition, and holds to the belief that all that’s happening is moving us towards awakening.
Many powerful energy patterns are afoot: eclipses, rare conjunctions, planetary stations. They all contribute to how you feel every day, and how you react to things that are happening to you and to the world. The universe is a spiritual arena, nothing but energy, and we’re the players in the soup. Psychics, empaths, and intuitives feel these energies (rather than just think about them), and so we know things (rather than just deduce them). Astrologers can figure out the timing.
Right now, it feels as though some kind of great shift is coming near, almost upon us. Many have felt this approaching shift but few can spell out exactly what’s in store. Thus, the uncertainty. Do we trust in God now, or do we fear evil? Your choice will create your personal reality; our composite choice will create the world’s.
Adhere to faith and love. That’s our tonic for the coming times.

ASTRO TIDBITS - DECEMBER 2020
The World sees the 6th-10th as idealistic and nice for economies (Venus trine Pluto, sextile Neptune) but there is much confusion and fake information on the 13th (Mercury square Neptune). The 14th is busy, with helpful energy for business (Venus sextile Jupiter/Saturn) and important reviews of older ideas (Mercury conjunct SN in Gemini). It is also a dynamic time of strong new beginnings (Solar Eclipse in Sag, trine Mars), continuing through the 20th with a new focus on science and technology (Jupiter conjunct Saturn, both entering Aquarius). The 22nd can bring outrage and violence (Mars square Pluto) but the 30th indicates fortunate surprises (Full Moon sextile Uranus).
In the U.S., disharmony and disappointments abound on the 5th (U.S. progressed Moon square U.S progressed Venus). Week 2 requires reevaluation, caution regarding investing, and a need to find freedom from restrictions (e.g., no second lockdown) (Saturn/Jupiter conjunct U.S. Pluto). A new era focused on progress and technology kicks off from the 17th-19th, with a humanitarian agenda (Saturn/Jupiter enter Aquarius). The last third of the month shows a big positive change regarding liberation (Uranus trine U.S. progressed ASC). Week 4 is quite active: while excellent economic gains along with serious and stabilizing goals bring joy (Jupiter trine U.S. MC, conjunct U.S. progressed Moon; Saturn trine U.S. MC), there is also extravagance, stress, and forced control of communications, perhaps with the ending of a significant matter (Saturn/Jupiter square U.S. progressed Venus; Pluto opposite U.S. Mercury). By the 26th, beneficial events are taking place (U.S. progressed Moon trine U.S. MC).
President Trump throughout the month is ready and strong for a fight, especially in court towards month’s end (good Mars aspects). Early on, he becomes secretive, intense, and less accommodating (his progressed ASC leaves Libra and enters Scorpio). He is energized anew on the 14th, possibly because something is being removed (Solar Eclipse conjunct his Moon). From the 17th-19th, his job becomes more technical and virtual, with new interests, but he receives mixed responses in his relationships, unpopular vs. loved (Saturn/Jupiter into Aquarius H6, square his progressed ASC). From the 20th-23rd, he faces challenges and frustrations (Pluto opposite his Saturn; Mars square his Saturn). By the month’s end, he is busy and energetic, with lots of communications with groups and organizations such as Congress (Jupiter into his H6; Mars trine his Mars; Full Moon conjunct his Mercury in H11).
Candidate Joe Biden is planning to move (his progressed IC conjunct his Saturn), but has been under a delusion, fooled by his family, or drugged for quite a while, especially since late November (Neptune conjunct his IC). Yet he is getting much support mid-month (basically, being propped up) (Saturn sextile his Venus; Jupiter sextile his Sun). However, from the 10th-15th, things become turbulent around money matters (Uranus square his Pluto in H8); he may be discredited or suffer forced changes (his progressed Moon square his progressed MC). From the 23rd-26th, he experiences a rollercoaster of feelings (Saturn/Jupiter square his Moon) but remains hopeful by month’s end (Saturn/Jupiter trine his Neptune). Nevertheless, the 30th indicates challenges regarding finances (Full Moon in H8 opposite his progressed Mars) leading to sadness or illness by years’ end (his progressed Moon square his Saturn)
Nancy Pelosi is also greatly challenged by month’s end, especially regarding secrets and legal matters (Saturn/Jupiter t-square her Saturn in H9 and Pluto in H12).
Hillary Clinton may be in for a shock on the 14th regarding financial doings (Solar Eclipse conjunct her progressed Uranus exact in H8). The latter part of the month brings further challenges (Saturn/Jupiter square her Sun in H12).

Book Review: “The Message of the Sphinx: A Quest for the Hidden Legacy of Mankind” – by Graham Hancock & Robert Bauval (Three Rivers Press, 1996)
After reading and reviewing his other book, Footprints of the Gods, it was with gusto that I bought Hancock’s newer book, and it didn’t disappoint. In this remarkable work of scholarship utilizing geological, archeo-astronomical, and mythical clues, Hancock and Bauval present a convincing argument that ancient Egypt’s knowledge, architectural feats, funerary rites, and engineering offer proof that it was the recipient of a legacy from a far older advanced civilization that left clues for later ages to solve.
In meticulous detail, properties of the Sphinx, the Great Pyramid, the whole Giza plateau, and the celestial patterns above are examined. Step by step, Hancock and Bauval prove several theories, the greatest of which is that the pattern on the ground was designed to mirror the pattern in the sky circa 10,500 BC.
The Sphinx itself, originally carved as a lion, faces the constellation Leo as it appeared in 10,500 BC during the time when its subsequent erosion patterns show a wet climate. The Sphinx, as a lion aligned with the constellation Leo the lion, cannot be a mere coincidence. Moreover, the layout of the Great Pyramid and its other two neighboring pyramids, is exactly in alignment during that ancient era with the three stars of Orion’s belt. Also, by painstaking deduction, the authors indicate that the archaic builders knew precisely of the eternal celestial pattern that the Earth forms with the constellations of the Zodiac called the Precession of the Equinoxes. The full precession, called The Great Year, comprises almost 26,000 years, and so, in and of itself, indicates a very long period of astronomical observations.
In studying these alignments, and then researching Egyptian cosmology, funerary objects, rites, and texts, the authors conclude that the Pharaoh was considered a god or celestial figure in flesh whose purpose was, upon death, to overcome hurdles in his passage and then transmute, similar to the chief god Osiris’ resurrection, into the constellation Orion, and thus resume an eternal form. The Pharaoh = Osiris = Orion.
Orion, aka Osiris, resides in the sky on the east bank of the Milky Way, or so it appears. The Milky Way, called The Winding Waters, was equated to the Nile. Thus, the entire Giza plateau which includes the Sphinx, the Great Pyramid, and beneath, was thought to be a mirror of the pattern in the sky circa 10,500 BC, and considered sacred ground. So much is explained with this theory, and so much falls into place when studying the ruins.
Of particular impact on me was the authors’ conclusion that there was a class of devoted followers of the gods who retained and communicated this concept down through thousands of years, calling themselves The Followers of Horus, and named by the authors as priest-astronomers. In a sense, whenever a celestial pattern affects earthly life, they could also be called astrologers. When I read this, a chill went up my spine because my very first past-life regression found me as a priest-astrologer in the more recent era of ancient Egypt (when the pyramids were built), around 2500 BC, and I realized that I was likely of that very same lineage!
Included in the book were some naysayers of the authors’ theories. For example, the head of the Egyptology department in Egypt, Zawi Hawass, has a stake in refuting any data seeking to prove that some of Egypt’s most fabulous archaeology might date back to a pre-Egyptian era, and has been blocking many efforts to find prophesied hidden compartments such as Edgar Cayce’s predictions of a Hall of Records beneath the Sphinx, or to allow scientists to examine a strange “door” at the end of a blind shaft in the Great Pyramid.
On the whole, this book may be too technical for some to enjoy, but to me it leaves a fascination with the very ancient past as well as a riddle set in stone to solve for our future. My one caveat is the poor quality of photographic reproductions, some of which are so blurry that details are all but impossible to make out. That might have been in the interest of cost, but takes away from what we can learn. On the other hand, all illustrations of star patterns and astronomical alignments are great. 4 stars.

AWAKENING IS CHAOTIC
Hello. Worry thy head not. Thy work is ongoing, the job not yet completed.
We have new thoughts for the world at this critical moment, and that is that you’re all going through a primary shift in awareness. However, each party or group of individuals sees that shift or awakening in different terms. And so, you will find in your sources of news that many are calling their particular change of insight and understanding – or we can even call it, of worldview and reality – to be transforming in their mind along the lines of their most significant predilection or interest.
We don’t mean to burst any bubbles but this shift will not occur as a uniform phenomenon, but instead as segmented parts of the population seeing the world anew according to their primary goal, purpose, or soul task.
What ensues is, of course, chaos. Each who undergoes such a process feels as though he or she has been given an epiphany, and that their worldview is now clarified, amplified, and on the way to realization. This then is an era profound and intense in which individuals know that they have found truth.
The fly in the ointment is that there will be multiple such truths afoot. Everyone will feel that their experience is the real thing, and that their beliefs are the only beliefs that are true. What an occurrence!
The outcome of such shifting and transformation is conflict. The clash occurs because very few are able to consciously transcend the whole confused arena of intellect, and gain access into a truly transcendent view of humanity on planet Earth. It is still fistfights and tantrums in kindergarten!
The way through, therefore, is to undertake an inner journey via meditation or other practices that detach you from worldly matters, and bring your perspective up into the stratosphere so that you can gain a vast panorama of what is going on, and then see that it is actually an acceleration program.
Humanity, for the most part, is still in low and dense vibration, with many trying to lift their own and the planetary energy. If you remain into this awareness of the path into transcendence and the viewpoint of heaven, you will succeed in navigating the pandemonium, and you will become more than ever the light-bearer that others will desperately need.
