A PERSONAL NOTE

This has not been an easy month on the home front. Husband needed emergency surgery and now will need lots of P.T.
I found myself vacillating between anxiety and trust. “Just be,” is the mantra. But how hard is that for us emotional humans?! (Will he be OK? … the Serenity prayer …Will I be OK? …peace, calm, and light …etc., back and forth.)
Everybody was sweet, helpful, kind, and loving. I have found myself in a field of love! But truthfully, the thing that gave me the most calmness was astrology! The upcoming aspects: Stress but no disaster. A tough week, then increasing strength and brightness. A new start ahead.
Energy is all. Energy patterns tell the future. Energy patterns don’t lie. They tell duration, waxing and waning, and attributes. I guess I’d say astrology is my belief system.
In truth, there is evidence all around me showing protection and guidance by my Elders and Guides. Many prayers have been offered, and some “magical” coincidences have occurred. If this is a test for both of us, we’re ready.

ASTRO TIDBITS - JULY 2024
The World sees intense negotiating in Week 1 (Mercury opposite Pluto) followed by a growth period in Week 2 (Jupiter sextile NN). The 13th brings economic pressures (Venus opposite Pluto), and healing energy on the 20th (Mars sextile Neptune). Commercialism must mesh with more lofty spiritual goals on the 21st (Full Moon at 29 Capricorn sextile Neptune exact). There can be cause for celebration on the 22nd (Venus sextile Jupiter).
July, our birthday, is a busy month for the U.S. Week 1 is moving us more towards awakening, and perhaps a new and better “American dream” (Neptune SR sextile U.S. p2 Pluto exact; Uranus trine U.S. p2 Neptune). July 4th is quite a lucky day, possibly bringing a windfall of sorts regarding jobs and healthcare (Jupiter conjunct U.S. Uranus in H6) and a new start for economic growth (New Moon in Cancer H8 conjunct U.S. Sun/p2 Jupiter). We can be too generous in Week 2 but are experiencing a powerful rebirth (Jupiter square U.S. p2 ASC; Pluto trine U.S. [Sibley] MC). In Week 3, we see new ideas that are favorable for the transportation industry (U.S. p2 Moon trine U.S. Mercury), and benefits through allies (Jupiter conjunct U.S. DSC), but also the therapeutic release of much anger, especially about rampant inflation (Mars in Taurus trine U.S. Pluto in H2). The 21st indicates a peak time for financial transformation and a shift in values (Full Moon at 29 Capricorn conjunct U.S. p2 Pluto in Capricorn H2). Week 4 shows progress, particularly about inventions, innovations, and helpful energy applications (Mars conjunct U.S. p2 Uranus/p2 MC, sextile U.S. NN). The nation is poised to resume its role as nurturer (U.S. p2 Moon trine its p2 NN in Cancer).
President Donald Trump finds July 1st to be an exciting day (Uranus sextile his Venus) although there may still be uncertainty as to his identity (Neptune SR qnx his ASC)! He gets acclaim on July 4th (Jupiter sextile his p2 MC). From the 9th-12th, he feels less blockage and more empowerment, is super busy and certainly not shy (Jupiter sextile his Pluto; NN trine his Pluto; Mars conjunct his MC, square his p2 Mercury). During the Republican National Convention (7/15-18), he feels some anger but mostly pleasantries, with a lovely pattern on the 17th (Mars square his Mars; many nice Venus aspects; Sun conjunct Venus). The 21st finds him playing is natural role (NN trine his p2 MC), and on the 30th his energy is very high (Jupiter trine his p2 Mars).

Book Review: “We Don’t Die: George Anderson’s Conversations with the Other Side” – by Joel Martin and Patricia Romanowski (Berkley Books, 1989)
Reading this remarkable book will almost guarantee the removal of any fear of oblivion upon dying! That’s because Anderson is shown to have the gift of powerful mediumship and talks to “the other side” as if he were on a phone call or shmoozing with a neighbor. He tells details of the life and of the event of crossing over, and rapidly overcomes the person’s disbelief or incredulity with names, places, secret information, and so forth until his talent is indisputable and the reality of the continuation of conscious personality becomes undeniable.
I had not heard of this gifted psychic before reading his history. But he was rather famous in the 80s, being the featured personality on a radio show. Hesitant and self-effacing, he did not seek the limelight. His early life was turbulent and unhappy, which seems to have led him to modesty and humility in his amazing interactions with people. Temporarily paralyzed by chicken pox at age six, then ostracized by classmates because of his visions and disruptive truths, he gained respite with the passage of time, and found like-minded folk in his twenties who helped him develop his abilities.
Quick to admit if he was wrong, or unable to access a particular spiritual entity, he nevertheless was so often accurate that an egoless persona shone through all his readings, which then served simply as healings for bereaved loved ones. A very impressive oeuvre.
Later in the book, Anderson talks about his experience with the process of mediumship. “There’s no physical body, but there’s a spiritual body that may take on a physical form, but to tell you the truth, I think that’s only during a reading, so I can see and describe what the person being read can understand.” He says that he feels like he is “shot with electricity” during a reading. He discusses suicides, soul mates, soul agreements, and being an instrument of service. One of his most important statements is this:
“Death is not a termination but a transition.”
Also:
“There are no accidents of the universe. Everything has a purpose, a mission, a meaning. …I want people to understand that life is everlasting. Everything that happens in your life has a purpose. …There is no such thing as death.”

FREE WILL'S STRATEGY
If it were so, all life would be subject to exterior forces and there would be no way to engage free will or personal intention. However, that is not the case, at least not for humans on planet Earth. Instead, the human journey was designed differently than lower life forms that react strictly to instinct and cannot decide their fate or have choice.
The idea of choice - that is to say, of free will making decisions at every moment - puts much responsibility upon the individual soul so that that soul must constantly choose between good and bad, right and wrong, what is beneficial versus what is harmful, and must do so daily throughout life in order to realize the consequences of each choice or decision. In doing so, fate rests primarily in the individual's hands although karma is also being worked out.
But karma is energy. Energy set in motion. It is none other than the ripple effect or consequence of previous choices and actions. Therefore, as one grows in wisdom, one realizes that the better the action, the more wholesome, the more enlightened, and the more connected to higher source, the better life gets, and the happier one creates one's future.
It is not hidden knowledge anymore; it is actually strategy. Throughout lifetimes, one learns the game and the best strategy, but all is being condensed now. No need to spend many lifetimes figuring this out. Information is available at your fingertips. Game theory.
Play the game well and you succeed… no longer in the direction of material gain but in the direction of inner joy and wholesome peace. The hints are now obvious, the concept in everyone's face. There are no longer excuses for bad actions or stupid choices leading to suffering. There is only the individual’s free will.
