Does it seem as though time is speeding up and the season is going by too fast? Here in Delaware, we’ve had unpleasant weather for months – either too cold, too rainy, or too darn hot! – and that’s contributed to a sense of lack, even a feeling of being gypped. Where was our spring? How fast is the summer rushing by? “Stop the world, I want to get off!”

Not only are people feeling stressed out, but my flowers and shrubs are suffering too. Wilted, parched, heat stroked. Are we undergoing a kind of subtle, invisible attack, or is this just nature doing its normal thing? And even if it’s just “normal” (tornadoes in Delaware??!), why does it feel so unseasonable, hurried up, and difficult?

I remember reading (back in the early 90s, I think) that planet Earth would be going through the photon belt, or maybe it was the Pleiades or the galactic center, in order to accelerate our evolution. (Just looked it up on Google: “The photon belt is a concept from New Age beliefs suggesting that Earth will pass through a ring of photons around the Pleiades star cluster, leading to either a spiritual awakening or catastrophic events. This idea lacks scientific support and is considered pseudoscience.”

Pseudoscience? Oh yeah? Well, the prediction targeted 2025, and something weird sure seems afoot. I’d love to know if any readers are experiencing this sense of acceleration, and if you think it’s a good or bad thing. Do you feel time is speeding up, or that we’re undergoing some kind of trial? Or is everything in your milieu hunky-dory?

ASTRO TIDBITS - JULY 2025

The World sees the beginning of a new age of high-minded yet realistic aspirations (Neptune on the world point sextile Pluto, sextile Venus; Saturn on the world point conjunct Neptune, sextile Pluto, sextile Uranus). Mid-month, thrift and conservation bring wisdom (Venus sextile Saturn). The 18^th is great for re-opening diplomacy (Mercury station retrograde sextile Venus). The 24^th brings dramatic major events that indicate power struggles and high spiritual efforts (New Moon in Leo trine Neptune, opposite Pluto).

The U.S. finds Week 1 especially active: it opens with explosive anger at government (Mars square U.S. p2 MC/Uranus), moves into high idealism and celebration (Neptune station retrograde square U.S. Venus; Jupiter conjunct U.S. Jupiter, sextile U.S. p2 Venus), and completes with a pattern of victory via military strength (p2 Jupiter conjunct U.S. Sun; Mars conjunct U.S. p2 ASC). Also, dynamic changes regarding the land and/or basis of the nation as well as innovations and inventions kick off (U.S. p2 Moon in H4 sextile U.S. Uranus). Week 2 indicates plans for the homeland and a greater understanding of its roots (Saturn conjunct U.S. IC). However, Week 3 shows continuing resistance and challenges, with over-emotionality (Pluto square U.S. p2 Saturn; Jupiter square U.S. p2 Moon).

President Donald Trump is bold, sharp-tongued, and unpredictable in Week 1 (Mars conjunct his p2 Sun, sextile his Mercury; Uranus square his ASC). Though too idealistic, he feels more powerful than ever, and is acting upon his dreams realistically (Jupiter square his Neptune; his p2 MC conjunct his Pluto; Neptune station retrograde trine his p2 Saturn). There is much good opportunity especially regarding jobs and healthcare in Week 3, and great aspects for speeches and decisions but he can be accident-prone as well (Jupiter sextile his p2 Sun in Virgo, conjunct his Mercury; Mars square his Uranus).

Elon Musk finds less acclaim and some sadness now (his p2 Moon leaving Leo, square his Saturn). The spat with President Trump was probably real (their Mars’ are opposite). However, he will see a financial breakthrough via inventions now (Uranus conjunct his Saturn in solar H8).

Harvard University (founded 1636, possibly September 9^th or October 28^th, New Towne [Cambridge], MA), an institute concerned with progress and innovation (its NN in Aquarius), is nevertheless torn between traditional values and progressive ones (its Saturn square its Uranus), even to the point of delusion about humanitarianism (Neptune square its NN). If the September date is correct, it will lose funding (Saturn will trigger its Saturn-Venus square).

Book Review: “The Seven Sacred Flames” by Aurelia Louise Jones (Mount Shasta Light Publishing, 2007)

This book is beautifully bound with thick, full-color, glossy pages that are edged in gold, accompanied by exquisite illustrations. Its content, conveyed through "Saint Germain, Adama, and The Judge," adheres to a theosophical ideology of Ascended Masters, referred to as Chohans. The book details their physical and other-dimensional Temples, also called Retreats, and the various energies (rays) they embody.

The Rays, or Sacred Flames, serve as the connecting energy for every individual, and can be determined through one’s heart. The 7 Chohans (Ascended Masters) are described as follows: First Ray - El Morya – The Will of God, blue, throat; Second Ray – Lord Lanto – Illumination and Wisdom, yellow, crown; Third Ray – Paul the Venetian – Cosmic Love, heart, pink; Fourth Ray – Serapis Bey – Purification, base of spine, white; Fifth Ray – Hilarion – Healing & Manifestation, third eye, green; Sixth Ray – Lord Sananda and Lady Nada – Resurrection, solar plexus, purple and gold; Seventh Ray - Saint Germain – Transmutation, seat of the soul, violet. Many other details of each are also described. Saint Germain is to be the avatar of the new age.

References are made to Lord Maitreya (The Planetary Christ), and The Planetary Spiritual Hierarchy and Beyond. As well, the Goddess of Liberty (as in our Statue of Liberty) is said to symbolize The Cosmic Mother who “ensouls the Flame of Freedom for the planet”.

Each Ray is broken down by color, chakra, gemstones, and specific Prayer and Meditation, and each Master’s task is elucidated as well as his/her previous embodiments such as King Arthur or Jesus.

Needless to say, this is heady stuff and certainly not ordinary reading! Much of this gathering of particulars can be found elsewhere, and is not brand-new information, but what I found especially wonderful is what is herein called The Discourses. Each Master of each Ray is asked questions through the channeled being named Adama. The answers cover a range of topics as diverse as Atlantis and Lemuria to the Atomic Age, pollution, toxins, and social issues of today, as related to the Master’s domain.

We are promised, the Masters tell us, that we can attain transformation into soul perfection, full divinity, immortality, and the opportunity to ascend. We will have technology utilizing vibration, light, and crystals to do so. While in the third dimension (here), we’re veiled and can’t see “the full perspective of our incarnation.” Still, we should flood the planet with healing heart energy to accelerate the process of ascension.

Copyrighted in 2007, despite repeated assurances that Earth's ascension would begin in 2012, today’s news makes this hard to believe. – 4.5 stars.

GET READY FOR THE BIG SHIFT!

We ask that you spend a while waiting expectantly for some amazing changes in the world's energy, and meanwhile not be discouraged by what looks stagnant or even exceptionally challenging for now. The changes that are in the wings are big and drastic, but they are generally positive. New life, new energy, new types of relationships are on the horizon. If what you expect adheres to positivity, that is what your particular future will hold, and, as is always the case, if what you expect embraces fear or negativity, some of that might be what you encounter. For this will be a very stark display of the individual's co-creative powers.

We could say the world is on the brink. But the brink of what, exactly? It is the brink of the new age, as has been called the golden age. And this is true, for the coming decades and even centuries will be full of innovation, evolution, an acceleration of consciousness, and a better relationship between the plant, animal, and human communities.

All is well and the cosmic design is proceeding. As ever, evolution does not proceed gently or smoothly but has bumps and hurdles to overcome. Nevertheless, the future is bright. It may not look so if you dwell on the wrong things at the moment, so we encourage you to shift your perspective, to pull back your viewpoint and see a larger picture.

After the storm there is the calm. After the storm things smell fresher, and that which managed to survive begins growing with strength and thrust. After the storm there is a sense of relief and even a sense of joy. This is the promise now. Your task as individuals is to create your future in a positive and happy way, and the world's task as a community is to abandon negativity and embrace love and light.
