Some people think they have to wait until love finds them. I’m often asked in an astrology reading when that will happen. (It’s true that an important progression might signify the desired event, but it does not necessarily mean that it’s a lover; it just as well could be a wanted child or a dear friend.)
Love is love.
Here’s a not-so-hidden secret: you can create love. You can, and should. Just like happiness, it’s not in the hands of another. It’s done as an act of will. You can and should develop the aspect of your nature that sends out the particular form of energy that uplifts, supports, comforts, and shares with another. You can do that with a cashier in a store, with the uptight person next to you on public transport, with a demanding boss. I’m not saying to give your gift to the undeserving (angry, nasty, belligerent, ungrateful) party, nor to discard discernment. But when you can give love without even the thought of any return, guess what? You become empowered. That’s where love becomes a source of energy!
Not preachin’... teachin’! This is a golden gift to share. When you do it consistently, a magical light will wash over your life, bringing loving people to you.

ASTRO TIDBITS - JUNE 2024
For the World a long period of confusion and deception is almost over (Neptune transiting last degrees of Pisces). The lull seems to be ending. There is a strong push to restructure investments and economies, especially in Week 1 (Pluto retrograde trine Jupiter and Mercury), along with mildly successful attempts at kindness (New Moon in Gemini square Saturn, conjunct Venus). But Week 2 brings protests, anger, and even violence (Mars square Pluto; Saturn square Venus). From the 17th-22nd, there will be lots of negotiating and a good pattern for diplomacy (Mercury sextile Mars, conjunct Venus). The month ends with good vibes (Venus sextile Mars).
The U.S. remains in a weakened fog early on but helped by unexpected good news (U.S. p2 Moon opposite U.S. Neptune; Uranus sextile U.S. Mercury). Week 2 sees an opening up, and a revamping of the entertainment industry (Uranus sextile U.S. Leo NN, trine U.S. ASC). The 8th indicates tension, conflict, and possible violence (Mars square U.S. p2 Pluto). In Week 3, there is frustration but also niceties, and a gradual strengthening (Mars opposite U.S. p2 Saturn, sextile U.S. Venus, Jupiter, and p2 ASC). There is good fortune on the 26th for the tech and health fields (Jupiter conjunct U.S. p2 Uranus) but by month’s end, problems in media may call for a time-out (Saturn SR conjunct U.S. Sun in H3).
President Donald Trump finds difficulty getting his message across in Week 4 (his P2 Mercury, ruler of his Sun, squares his MC).
D. A. Alvin Bragg (10/21/73, NYC) was under great pressure last year (Pluto square his Sun/PF), with troubles peaking recently (Pluto SR square his Mars exact). He is essentially lucky in business (Kite with Grand Earth Trine) but will not see positive results this Fall (Saturn square his Venus).

Book Review: “Coming Back: A Psychiatrist Explores Past-Live Journeys” – by Raymond Moody, MD with Paul Perry (Sakkara Productions Publishing, Reprint 2016)
Dr. Moody has followed his successful first book on the subject of reincarnation (Life After Life) with this newer study of case histories, including his own nine past-life regressions. He still seems to hold some skepticism about the reality of past lives, as, throughout the book he keeps questioning its certainty (which he perhaps does in order to retain his scientific credibility). “Although I didn’t necessarily believe that these [mysterious cases] are proof of reincarnation as so many people do, I must admit that some of the cases I’d heard couldn’t be explained away very easily.” In spite of these doubts, a listing of his oeuvres in the front of this book indicates that he has made a successful authorship of no less than seven works on this very subject! In fact, on his ONLY subject. Okay, let’s move on.
He opens the book with nine of his own past-life regression experiences: Jungle Life; Primitive Africa; The Master Boat Builder Stumbles; The Fearful Mammoth Hunter; Early Public Works; Thrown to the Lions; Nobility to the End; Death in the Desert; and The Oriental Artist. Only in #9 was he a woman. Interestingly, despite acknowledging that he “rarely encounters a past-life experience that doesn’t in some way relate to a problem in the patient’s current life,” nowhere does he give us insight into what or how any of these nine lives relates to his current one. I felt disappointed about that.
All of the case studies were intriguing and enjoyable to read. The codifying of twelve Traits of Past-Life Regressions was helpful, as was the chapter on The Healing Power of Past Lives. References to high blood pressure, asthma, phobias, depression, the power of mind, symbolism, and more can all become effective tools in the psychotherapist’s work, regardless (he feels) if the hypnotic regressions prove reincarnation or just some other trick of the mind.
Despite giving us many fascinating examples of past-life cases that DO affect clients’ well-being, Moody insists on questioning reincarnation (Section 5: Are Regressions Proof of Life Before Life?). He clearly states that in lending hope of renewal, the truth of reincarnation clashes with his Christian rearing (Heaven or Hell) and scientific training. Instead, he brings up alternative concepts to account for these experiences such as cryptomnesia, xenoglossia, and hypnogogia, all the while touting the use of a speculum to scry (e.g., use a crystal ball), and offering a 23-page self-hypnosis script for “self-exploration” at the book’s end.
Considering how Dr. Moody has achieved his fame and fortune as an author, I find this two-faced approach disingenuous! 3 stars.

THE EASIEST PATH TO THE NEW HUMAN
Hear us, for we have good news. There is a shift happening that is not what you think; it is more like an interior knowing or awareness.
Much has been written about energy and frequency, much has been weighed about a new earth and a new consciousness, and much has been inveigled about who will be doing this or how this will happen, and we say it is none of these things. We say humanity is reaching new levels of understanding, inherently, internally, without necessarily an external teacher or event. It will be as though there is a complete reaction to the events and energies that have already taken place on the planet and are continuing to do so, and this reaction is spontaneous, and it is vast so that all peoples all over the world will begin to see anew, feel differently, and want or long for a completely new way of living.
One of the things that will be on the wish list will be a new relationship with all living creatures, and another thing will be a new relationship with the planet, the homeland. Even as this happens, quietly, spontaneously, and globally, it will seem as the most natural direction and the easiest path out of current core problems.
This, then, is the new human and the new earth. If you can imagine now, how the earth will shift and change when multitudes desire a different way of living and relating within families, friendships, and community, even before participation of larger entities such as governments and businesses, then you will be able to see ahead, to see a changed world, to see a different type of human. Nature always moves in the direction of healing and health. It has been humanity’s interference that has usually changed that. However, given its liberation, nature moves upwards in the direction of planetary well-being, and if there are things that must be destroyed in order to bring about that goal, then nature ruthlessly does so even at the cost of life.
We do not foretell catastrophe; we do not even foretell any hellish period. We say humanity is striving now to get past and beyond that type of experience, and when humanity aligns with nature and feels the general oneness, this easily comes about.
We thank you. We are complete and we withdraw.
