A PERSONAL NOTE

Dreams are really weird things! First of all, where do they “take place”? And where does your consciousness go when you are in them? Into another dimension? Into your imagination? Sometimes into the future? And what role do they play in our lives? Even animals dream, so it must be something essential to life (at least, to higher life… but who knows at what level on the scale it begins. Do protozoa dream?).
I’ve been pondering this lately because, as I figure out how to get a better night’s sleep (i.e., longer, more consistent, and deeper), my dreams have been more vivid. But the thing is, the quality of dreams can be very varied. On the one hand, some of my dreams are like living in a stranger’s life – often disturbing, or surrealistic, but sometimes delightful. And not just observing, but emotionally participating. These dreams leave me scratching my head in the morning: who were these people, why was I watching them, and why were they living such odd lives? (These types of dreams don’t carry much significance to me, no symbolic meaning that I can discern, only like I just astral-traveled into someone else’s journey to watch an event play out.)
Other types of dreams are hugely meaningful. Full of symbolism. In at least two cases, my Guides were showing me a message. This new relationship is very solid and enduring but you can “jump ship” whenever you want, if you so choose. Or, more recently, Your work here is not done yet. The latter was a snippet injected at the end of a more typical dream, complete with a phalanx of linen-garbed Elders! Dreams like these have no ambiguity. Your Higher Self/Guides/Guardian Angels/Elders are speaking to you, and their messages are terribly important for your ongoing journey.
And then there are the prophetic dreams. Many times, people are shown upcoming dangers or catastrophes, some even going on record beforehand. This amazing ability is well-known. My friend Judy Hennes, very psychic and mediumistic, has been getting dreams that show symbolically how things are being played out in our society for several years. Her track record is very accurate, and most of her recent dreams indicate a positive and spiritual outcome for us all. However, her latest dream has both of us baffled. She saw a vast open area, in which, all jammed together, the construction of many tiny huts was being erected out of wood. Other than temporary shelters, we couldn’t figure out its meaning. The New Earth? FEMA camps? Enormous potential for growth? If you have any ideas, please share!

ASTRO TIDBITS - JUNE 2023
For the World, Week 1 may bring benefits regarding finances and land (Jupiter conjunct NN in Taurus), and a lively period with perhaps some saber-rattling (Full Moon trine Mars). Week 2 sees a revisit and finale regarding all big institutions – governments, banks, corporations – with the transformations lasting through January ’24 (Pluto returns to Capricorn). The 17th-18th are mixed for economics, positive for diplomacy, but still mired in fake news or delusion (Saturn station retrograde sextile Jupiter, square Venus; Venus sextile Mercury; New Moon in Gemini square Neptune). Week 3 is nice for business and trading (Jupiter in Taurus sextile Saturn). The 26th-27th shows danger such as explosions, wrecks, or earthquakes (Mars square Uranus). Month’s end brings further opportunity for spiritual and/or psychic development (Neptune station retrograde in Pisces sextile Pluto).
In the U.S., there is much tension, even chaos, from the 1st through July (p2 Moon square U.S. p2 Uranus), but the 3rd and 4th show gain or reason to celebrate, and benefits through alliances (Jupiter conjunct U.S. p2 Venus; Full Moon in Sagittarius conjunct U.S. ASC). Week 2 indicates more gain and continuing reformation of government and other big entities (tech, pharma, banks) (Jupiter sextile U.S. Jupiter; Pluto reentering Capricorn conjuncting U.S. p2 Pluto in H2). People are turning to God, especially at month’s end (Neptune sextile U.S. p2 Pluto). The second half of the month may see us involved more so in a foreign war (Mars in U.S. H9). Week 3 shows an uphill battle to break free of restraints (Saturn square U.S. p2 Uranus). The 19th offers a chance for talks with allies (New Moon in Gemini H7 trine U.S. Moon).
President Trump turns 77 on the 14th. This year, he will focus on family and home (homeland?) (SR Sun in H4), enjoy a financial boost (SR NN/Moon/Jupiter in H2 sextile Saturn), and communicate logically and seriously (SR Mercury in H3). Empowerment and new goals are likely (SR Pluto/PF in H11). The month of June finds him very busy, lucky, happy, and planning well (Mars conjunct his p2 MC/Pluto, sextile his p2 Jupiter/Uranus; Jupiter trine his p2 Sun; p2 Moon conjunct his p2 Venus; and his p2 Moon sextile his p2 Mercury, and Jupiter sextile his Mercury).
Tucker Carlson (5/16/69, 10:07 AM PDT, San Francisco, CA), a soul born for journalism, is extraordinarily well positioned to become more empowered, wealthier, and even more principled than he was on FOX News (t Pluto retrograde and stationing direct in a Kite/Grand Trine to his Moon, Jupiter, NN, and Neptune). Social media will undoubtedly become his ideal platform (his p2 MC in Gemini H11 trine his Uranus in H3). Elon Musk could be his benefactor as well as mentor (Elon’s Pluto sextile Jupiter brings good fortune to Tucker’s earth and water planets; Elon’s Saturn conjuncts Tucker’s Moon).
Meanwhile, Klaus Schwab (3/30/38, time unknown, Ravensburg, Germany), one of the architects of the awful “Great Reset,” is facing impossible odds by the autumn (t Pluto will station retrograde exactly t-squaring his n Mercury-Pluto square). He may make his transition then (t Neptune in a Grand Water Trine to his Pluto and NN).
Fox News Channel (10/7/96, NYC) is in a turbulent time until Winter ’24 (Uranus opposite its Moon). However, it can reinvent itself in a positive way over the next year and a half (Pluto trine its Mercury, sextile its Pluto).
Whoopi Goldberg (11/13/55, 12:48 PM, NYC) cannot hold her position any longer (Uranus opposite her Sun/Saturn, square her ASC; Pluto square her Neptune). Blunt and rebellious (her MC/Venus/NN in Sagittarius; Uranus square her Mercury), her ego may have gone too far.

Book Review: "The Further Prophecies of Nostradamus: 1985 and Beyond” – by Erika Cheetham (Perigee Books, 1985)
I picked up this paperback at a Book Fair, so it was almost a giveaway, but I couldn’t resist the topic and was intrigued by the claim of predictions for our current era, the 2000s. It was a good choice because it is well-written and well-organized by an Oxford scholar who has made this famous mystic her life’s work. However, I found that even a brilliant soothsayer could be hard-pressed to fathom the weird direction this era has taken!

One of the things that I liked was the author’s exploration of many factors besides and beyond Nostradamus himself. For instance, chapters called “Is Prediction Possible?,” “Theories of Time,” and “Visions, Revelations, Trance and Dreams” ponder the entire concept of the paranormal, while chapters entitled “Misuses of Prophecy and Prophets,” and “Is Prophecy Desirable?” consider its value. Misuse includes fakery for exploitation and gain, or trying to force an event by proclamation or propaganda. Edgar Cayce (another famous psychic) was cited as a victim of this damaging misuse. As for the desirability of prophecy, it can act as an antidote to dogmatic fatalism. In some cultures, such as ancient Greek, prophecy was necessary before any action, whereas many religions once established want to ban it.
As for Nostradamus’ tantalizing but encoded quatrains, Cheetham analyzes the original French and gives us helpful contemporary English translations. Nostradamus’ world was primarily Europe, and so many prophecies are concerned with France, England, Germany, and Italy. The Popes and Napoleon loom large. There are a few allusions to America, Africa, Russia, and the MidEast, but not much about China/Asia.
Pre-1985, he does well in predicting, for example, the Great Fire of London, the rise and fall of Hitler, and the assassination of President Kennedy. But as Cheetham says, “he cannot always understand the content of the vision he sees, or finds it almost impossible to explain in his sixteenth-century vocabulary.” He sees air travel that “makes the world smaller,” and oil as a new source of wealth. Some messages are very precise but some are very open to interpretation. Post-1985, even the author, writing in 1985 interpreting things for us, seems out of her depth considering how bizarre today’s world has become regarding villains, allegiances, perversions, right from wrong, and issues of trust. It remains to be seen if this is “the last Pope,” or if King Charles is “the last monarch,” or if a third antichrist comes to ignite “a great global war.”
Most of the prophecies are negative – scary, even. Hopefully, the world will right itself in time to dissolve these dire expectations. In any case, perhaps a new insight of the quatrains is required to make sense of the 2020s. A mostly-fun read. 3 ½ stars.

GROWING DISCERNMENT
Hello.
We are watching, listening, observing from this higher realm or different dimension. We are separate from you here but also part of this great cosmic journey called life, and we imbue each of you with a recognition, intuition, and knowledge that neither are you alone nor are you disconnected from this dimension. It sometimes comes to you in dreams or daily in feelings that there is more to earth life than what you experience or think of it.
And so, we tell you that this inkling is growing, increasing, developing in everyone. It is a new day, a new era, and you are being led, guided, or trained to listen within rather than believe some things you are told. You are developing discernment based on intuitive knowledge – the feeling that some things that you have been told or led to believe do not feel right, do not feel true or accurate. You may feel that you are going nuts! You may feel a certain amount of disconnection from life, from reality (we would put that word in quotes) or from existence.
Yes, in a way this is true. There is a disconnect but it is not of the nature of your reality so much as it is of the difference between what you know, sense, feel, are certain about versus what seems to be offered, explained, or presented. And so, in this way, we are teaching that your cosmic connection is increasing at the same time your gullible beliefs in falsehoods are decreasing.
It is a wonderful thing. This era is the passage from stupor to clarity, from vulnerability to empowerment, and from separation into a glorious re-connection. It is a path to wholeness as you slough off your old self, old identity, and re-costume yourself in greater light.
