Solar Eclipse, New Moon, lots of energy in Aries… that spells out lots of newness. Not the Illuminati’s horrible “New World Order” but the Hermetic tradition’s “New Order of the Ages.” We should all wait to see what shape this will take in the coming period.

My big news is that I’ve contracted to publish my book The Wisdom Keys in audio format. I’m following the intuitive lead from my Guides to disseminate their teachings further. I can only listen and act, trusting, but not knowing the end results. It will take a good part of a year to complete this endeavor, though. It will entail some publicity too.

Meanwhile, I’ve read that whales and dolphins are gathering in huge pods all over the world. Animals always know things. Is this a spiritual omen? Or are we on the cusp of an apocalypse? The nuttiness seems to be crescendo-ing, doesn’t it, but then again, maybe it means the light is growing. Either way, wrap yourself in golden light. Then, whatever occurs, you’ll be ascending!

ASTRO TIDBITS - MAY 2025

The World sees strong idealism at month’s start, followed by pressures concerning communications or negotiations (Venus/Neptune; Pluto square Mercury). Excesses must be avoided in Week 3 (Node square Jupiter). Week 4 can be pleasant, with less delusion/fakery, deeper inspiration, greater freedom, and a new start for powerful information (Venus trine Mars; Saturn/Neptune sextile Mercury; Uranus semi-sextile Jupiter; and New Moon in Gemini conjunct Mercury).

Last month I said I’d talk about all the energy going into Aries, not just this month but for several years to come (Neptune, Saturn). Descriptive words for Aries include: bold, pioneering, aggressive, groundbreaking, new, own needs, assertion, high energy. We can expect a period of great changes and innovations. For one thing, a long cycle of deception and gullibility has ended… the truth in media will take over the fake news (no more Neptune opposite U.S. Neptune from H3 to H9). Then, a strong reality check will dispel unrealistic ideas and impractical ideologies such as gender confusion or nonsensical labeling, while promoting sensible aspirations (Saturn conjunct Neptune). Dreams, if rational, can be realized worldwide, and higher consciousness can be valued. Disappointments will only show what is not workable and needs rational adjustment. With benevolent goals, old souls can be born to help raise human awareness (outer planets Pluto, Neptune, Uranus in harmonious aspects).

The U.S. begins Week 1 assertive, dominant, and independent, with brilliant innovative solutions although there is pressure on our resources and economy (Mars trine U.S. p2 Moon, conjunct U.S. NN, sextile U.S. p2 MC; sextile U.S. Uranus; Pluto station retrograde square U.S. p2 Saturn). We might be over-expectant (Jupiter square U.S. Neptune). Week 2 brings great news, and military might (Jupiter trine U.S. p2 Mercury; Mars trine U.S. ASC). Week 3 shows reevaluation and less fear (Saturn sextile U.S. p2 Pluto in H2). By Week 4 and continuing into June, there are dynamic innovations containing high creativity and greater consciousness (U.S. p2 Moon sextile U.S. p2 Uranus; Uranus trine U.S. Pluto).

President Donald Trump gets a windfall at first (Jupiter conjunct his p2 Uranus) but is soon facing challenges, even violence, that may force lifestyle changes (Pluto station retrograde opposite his p2 Saturn exact, square his p2 ASC exact). He is under cosmic protection (Jupiter conjunct his Sun) but Week 2 indicates danger such as another assassination attempt (Uranus square his Mars; Mars conjunct his p2 MC/Pluto in H12)!! However, there is reason to celebrate by Week 3 and he grows stronger than ever (Jupiter trine his p2 Venus; Mars return; Jupiter trine his p2 Jupiter). On the 22^nd, he might make an important speech (Jupiter sextile his p2 Mercury). By Week 4, he is very robust, inventive and empowered (Mars sextile his Jupiter, sextile his Uranus; Jupiter sextile his Mars). Wow!--

Book Review: “Magicians of the Gods” by Graham Hancock (Coronet, 2015)

Remarkable author Graham Hancock – scientist, explorer, archeologist, anthropologist, and self-described investigative journalist - has given us yet another gem of research into, and theories about, ancient ruins, lost civilizations, and geological mysteries.

In this 591-page megabook spanning continents, similar world myths about the Deluge, geological evidence, and odd coincidences of ancient artifacts distantly apart, Graham builds a theory about a rapid cataclysmic climate-changing cometary bombardment upon the North American Laurentian ice field 12,800 years ago that instantly caused “a wall of green water” that ended the Ice Age and ushered in the Younger Dryas epoch. All the while, he makes no bones about his contentious relationship with scientists who deny the concept of cataclysmic geology in favor of a doctrine of gradualism.

He visits places such as the Scablands that reveal “hydraulic pounding” of the earth, and others showing a “nanodiamond layer” that can only have resulted from shock, pressure, and heat; he uses geological measurements and the evidence of megafaunal extinction to back up oral traditions in many lands of times before and after an actual Flood, and of a snake or serpent with a long tail in the sky (a comet), and of a period of darkness lasting years.

Having expounded upon, and convinced us of, the comet and the ensuing worldwide flood, Hancock goes on to tackle the mysteries of lost civilizations and stories of ancient wise men from the sea who visited the hunter-gatherer remnants in scattered places to share knowledge of agriculture and kick-start the revival of civilization around the globe. As far distant as Sumer and Peru, Easter Island and Mexico, Turkey and Egypt, and even inaccessible locations in the Amazon and Polynesia, he explores the widespread legends, myths, sacred texts, megalithic structures, and ancient artifacts that bolster his central theory of cataclysm and drastic planetary change. He is not averse to discussing subjects such as Atlantis, Nibiru, giants, pole shifts, and astronomical cycles that could ominously bring the comet back to wreak havoc on the earth in our era!

YOU ARE THE CREATOR AND THE POWER

We know that you are all searching for answers and wisdom during this trying period. But it is harder to come by when there is so much distraction, some of which is deliberate and some of which is random or accidental but all of which throws the psyche off and causes the body to feel agitated.

It is not wrong or mistaken to react in this fashion when you are moving through an epoch that is so fraught with dangers, chaos, uncertainty, and challenge. We have spoken before of a cosmic design. All is co-created and designed, so in truth this era has been mandated so as to accelerate humanity's evolution.

Getting back to being distracted by it all and having trouble finding answers to the search for wisdom or even for inner peace whilst existing now, we can say this: you are the creator and the power. We do not say you have the power, we say you are the power. All inner peace and wisdom are derived from this understanding. It is also available when you move from reaction into observation. The aspect of you that is a witness or observer stands apart from the fray; it is more the director of your movie than the player.

The answer, at least during this time frame, is to watch what is going but not feel entangled in it. To the best of your ability and under your personal circumstances, try to watch the news, observe people's behavior, find the human tragicomedy in it all, and wait patiently for whatever goodness and blessing you can see. When you find that piece of goodness in the storm, latch on to it, increase it, keep it near your heart, and smile.

That is all of the answer, and no more is needed, for that attitude will get you through, and will result in greater understanding and awareness. The search for wisdom is right there.
