A PERSONAL NOTE
Hi,
In this month’s channeled message, the Brotherhood is teaching us about our intuition being our protector. It’s an ability that can subtly advise us to stay away from an action or person, or by reverse, to go forward and embrace it or him/her even if we feel reluctant. Intuition is often called a gut feeling or a hunch. We all have that but some people are naturally more in tune with it. In metaphysics, it’s called the small, still voice within. (In-tuition = inner teacher. Get it?) Great military generals have been known to listen to it despite their best advisors. Obviously, it can help us succeed in an endeavor, or keep us out of danger. And on a mundane level, it can simply remind us to buy a grocery item we’ll be needing soon. Like, when my husband was recently being discharged from a hospital stay and I needed to pick him up but didn’t know if I should park and hike from the distant parking lot, I got the message (hint, feeling) that I should just drive around to a side door… and there he was, exiting! So simple. So helpful. So cool!
The Theosophist Mme. Blavatsky taught that humanity would become more permeable in the upcoming new era, which means that abilities such as psychic or paranormal would morph into the regular everyday experience, and the world would develop less density. Listening and tuning into our intuition is definitely part of this change.
See, not only can we advance our higher guidance system (which requires calming down and hearing subtle hints, often a technique that needs a lot of practice) but something amazing will begin to happen when it starts to be mastered: synchronicity. Synchronicity is when the external world validates our inner work. We say, or do, or even think of something, and right away the universe confirms that we’re manifesting our creation. For instance, I was recently explaining to my physical therapist that my Ancestry profile indicated that I had a special muscular trait he’d never heard of, and almost immediately after my therapy session, that same Ancestry site sent me an email that included an article about it. The world calls this coincidence, but it’s really the Art of Manifestation and confirms that we are truly creators of reality. It’s all connected.
Speaking of creation, there are many cosmic changes afoot, with three major planets changing signs. Perhaps it’s a good time to get an astrological update to see how these will affect you. ASTRO TIDBITS - MAR. 2023
The World suffers important but gloomy news at month’s start (Mercury conjunct Saturn). But by the 7th, there is much practical innovation (Full Moon in Virgo trine Uranus). From the 23rd to the 26th, we enter a new era indicating less delusion, the start of heavy transformation of Big Tech, and caring action regarding children and food (New Moon at 0▫ Aries; Saturn enters Pisces; Pluto enters Aquarius; and Mars enters Cancer). Month’s end sees unusual good fortune and steady productive pacing (Venus conjunct Uranus; Mars sextile Saturn).
In the U.S., further substantial change continues (Pluto conjunct U.S. p2 Pluto), along with beneficial ties with allies (Jupiter trine U.S. ASC). From the 6th – 7th, indications show military action against enemies such as issuing demands and broadcasting plans (U.S. Mars return trine U.S. p2 Mercury). But there will likely be overspending (Jupiter square U.S. Sun). Week 2 might see an increase in infection or higher fuel prices, and is not a good time to overcommit (Mars square U.S. Neptune; Jupiter opposite U.S. Saturn). But there is cause for gain and delight (U.S. p2 Moon sextile U.S. p2 Venus). Aggression and strength are shown on the 19th, 22nd, and 31st (Mars trine U.S. Moon; Jupiter opposite U.S. p2 Mars).
The Democratic Party has recently undergone sweeping changes and intense pressures although it can evolve (Pluto conjunct its Uranus, square its ASC, trine its Moon). It must halt its direction and seek reform (Pluto will square its NN).
King Charles is in a turbulent period full of tension, and finding it very hard to move forward (Pluto square his Moon/p2 NN; Uranus square his Pluto in H1). Don’t be surprised if he does not get coronated as planned this May!
Trump finds early month good for business (Jupiter trine his p2 Pluto). From the 4th – 6th, he can be bold and inventive but is annoyed (Mars conjunct his NN/ p2 Uranus, opposite his Moon; Jupiter opposite his p2 Mars). Week 2 shows possible problems with partners but very high energy and strength in debates (Saturn conjunct his DSC; Mars sextile his p2 Mercury, trine his p2 Venus, conjunct his Sun). He can take strong action in Week 2 (Mars trine his p2 Jupiter, sextile his Mars). He is lucky and forceful in the month’s closing days (Jupiter sextile his Uranus; Mars sextile his ASC).
General Mark Milley (6/20/58, Winchester, MA) is under strong restriction and much pressure (Saturn opposite his Pluto/p2 Sun; Pluto square his NN).
Nimarata “Nikki” Randhawa Haley (1/20/72, Bamberg, SC) is undergoing a profound shift regarding more career power (Pluto conjunct her Capricorn Sun, trine her Pluto). Week 1 finds her blocked (Saturn square her Saturn) but overactive with words by Week 2 (Jupiter conjunct her Mars, square her Mercury). She may be deluded in her goals (Neptune conjunct her late Pisces Moon), or have an upset and a reality check this Spring (Uranus conjunct her Mars; Saturn conjunct her Venus, square her Neptune).

Book Review: “Moon Magic” – by Dion Fortune (Aquarian Press, 1957)
Dion Fortune was a British occultist, ceremonial White Magician (that is, one who uses her paranormal powers in service to the world rather than selfishly), who practiced her arts mainly in the 1930s-40s. She authored fiction and non-fiction books, established spiritual organizations, gave philosophical talks, and worked meditatively with like-minded colleagues to create a “cone of protection” around England during the Blitz. (Britain was bombed but never invaded.) As Wikipedia notes, “she claimed [philosophies] had been taught to her by spiritual entities known as the Ascended Masters.”
“Moon Magic” is the last of her occult novels. (My favorite is “The Sea Priestess”, still in print.) I was moved intuitionally to re-read it for this issue, and quite enjoyed it a second time despite some archaic language reflective of her times.
A recurring theme in her novels is of an exotic female figure who strives to join up with a troubled male, subconsciously connected to her through past lives, in order to work esoterically with the male-female polarity to create a pathway for higher energies to be brought into the earth. To do so, she must take on the role of a fascinating and powerful but asexual woman who at first engages him mundanely, as in sharing a meal, or walking the streets of London together, but eventually does so in full ceremonial ritual during which she dresses as a priestess (ancient Egyptian, in this case) and sets the stage with colors, mirrors, clothing, lighting, and so forth.
Her target in this story is a lonely doctor with “a brusque, forbidding manner” who sees Lilith Le Fay in his dreams before actually meeting her. Turns out, he was an ancient Egyptian priest whose dark role of sacrificial murder haunts and bruises him in this life. As Le Fay gradually lures and prepares him to be healed as well as function as her male polarity in the current rituals, Fortune gives us many details of the logic and practices of such occult work. She believed such work brought greater freedom onto the planet. It’s for this reason that her novels are so praised, and have held up so well. As some readers may know, there is a right-handed as well as left-handed path to occultism, but in today’s mixed-up world this knowledge has been besmirched.
In the end, the doctor has become pleasanter and ready for real relationships while Le Fay has been re-energized, more connected to the divine feminine, and on to her next mission.
Overall, the story is well-paced, thought-provoking to read, educational if you like her philosophies and practices, and a pretty good human interest tale. 5 stars.

THE NEW FREQUENCY
In this time or era, there is something crucial to be gained, to be learned. It is the development of the instinct of self-preservation, something that has been lessened or diminished since primitive times. This instinct is connected in your brain to hunches, gut feelings, or intuition. They cannot be divided or separated.
And so, we see that humans, who have already succeeded in mastering the various species on the planet to reach an apex position, have now to hone a basic instinct so that it reaches its epitome also.
There are things that can be done when one feels a threat to survival. Such may be withdrawal or escape; another might be invention or the creation of new means whereby to stand up to the threat; and last but perhaps best is transcendence. That means a new state of consciousness, a new level of awareness whereby one changes the vibration or frequency that one exists within, and thus staves off the threat by being in a different – for want of a better word – dimension than the threat is appearing in. This is totally new information for many. This is a totally new and evolved approach to life and survival of life.
In cosmic terms, this new and evolved stage of development is being pushed, and pushed hard. It is as though that masterful human animal is being cornered and forced into a whole new type of existence.
One can learn to put oneself inside a sphere or bubble of vibration so that events that happen on the physical plane really can’t intrude. Either, one will be removed from the action by a set of circumstances that seem accidental but are really working in alignment with the properties one is exhibiting to the universe, or one can find oneself within the maelstrom but basically untouched. These are called miracles but they are not. They are actually scientifically grounded, as will be discovered in due time.
So, we leave you with the caution to raise your vibration to one of peace and love, and also calm and acceptance, for these are the types of thoughts and energetic equations that bring one upward and ultimately safe.
