A PERSONAL NOTE

I’m optimistic. Guardedly optimistic. That our way of life will be restored (even if in somewhat different ways), and that much nefarious doings will be relegated to the annals of history.
Everyone seems to be on tenterhooks with this crazy political climate we’re living through. It’s part of the changing of an Age… which also demands changed values and beliefs. I’ve gotten very interested in lost civilizations and their remnants all over the planet. The topic dangles a momentous question: Have we gone through a similar pattern before? That is, an advanced civilization that, for one reason or another, is wiped clean and has had to start all over? Are we in some kind of End Times?
As you read below, you’ll see that the channeled message from the Brotherhood of Lightworkers this month has used the word “rejoicing”. Additionally, astrologically some powerful shifts are taking place auguring transformation, restoration, and rebirth. It’s as though the whole world is coming out of darkness, with the U.S.A. primarily leading the renewal. (Pluto leaving the last degree of Capricorn, leaving the last conjunction to the U.S. p2 Pluto, trining the Sibley U.S. MC at 1° Libra.) A good promise!
A further positive message from the BOLW this month is that humanity can transcend the need for cataclysm by raising consciousness and vibration instead. I’ve been very buoyed, for example, by so many incidents of increased spirituality, compassion, and love (even, as I’ve written before, between humans and the animal kingdom, and between humans and Mother Earth.)
My horoscope tends to be more optimistic than pessimistic. It’s just how I’m designed. So maybe I’m being foolish or naïve. But I also have the intuitive gift. It’s a certain kind of faith… in the universe, in Source, in the Cosmic Plan. Peace is the feeling, not anxiety. So, I’ll stick to my guns and continue to believe we’ll come out of all this fine.

ASTRO TIDBITS - NOV. 2024
The World begins the month with violence (Pluto opposite Mars). That is soon followed by excessive spending (Jupiter opposite Venus), then a new beginning regarding important information (NN trine Mercury). People can be too idealistic or still bamboozled in Week 2 (Neptune square Venus). The 15th might feel gloomy (Saturn station direct square Mercury) while currencies are undergoing sudden major changes (Full Moon in Taurus conjunct Uranus). From the 20th onwards for no less than 20 years, a new age of innovation, technological progress, A.I., and brotherhood commences (Pluto re-enters Aquarius). Beliefs and messages should be re-examined by Week 4 (Mercury station retrograde in Sagittarius).
The U.S. as does the World sees violence at month’s start (Mars opposite the U.S. p2 Pluto). The 5th (Election Day) brings hope for the future and good news (Sun trine U.S. Sun; Venus sextile U.S. p2 Mercury, square U.S. Neptune). The 6th indicates blessings as well as extravagance and over-optimism (Sun trine U.S. p2 Jupiter; Jupiter square U.S. p2 Sun). The 7th shows lots of work getting done (Mars sextile U.S. MC). Week 4 indicates a positive shift with much clean-up and release of negative influences (U.S. p2 Moon sextile U.S. p2 Pluto). However, much confusion is caused by the media (Mercury station retrograde sextile U.S. p2 Mercury, t-square U.S. p2 Sun and Neptune).
President Donald Trump finds Week 1 full of luck and excitement (Uranus sextile his Venus) although he must deal with forced changes in his home (his p2 Moon square his p2 MC). Mid-month brings frustration and fights (Mars conjunct his p2 Saturn, square his p2 ASC) along with tension-causing information yet a stabilizing major event (Uranus square his p2 Mercury; Full Moon conjunct his MC exact, sextile his Saturn/Venus). He must overcome obstacles in Week 3 (his p2 Moon square his Pluto) but Week 4 sees luck, personal growth, and good news (Jupiter conjunct his Uranus in H10, trine his Jupiter; Mercury SR conjunct his Moon, sextile his p2 Venus, trine his p2 Mercury, and opposite his Sun).
Kamala Harris faces excitement and opportunity now (her p2 Moon sextile her p2 Uranus; Venus trine her Mars; Full Moon conjunct her Jupiter). There are arguments on the 8th (Mars square her Mercury). By mid-month, she feels stuck in a nerve-wracking uphill battle that will continually worsen through February ’25 (Saturn direct from H10 to H4 opposite her Uranus/p2 Uranus/Pluto/p2 Pluto/Venus/p2 Mars; Neptune square her p2 Sun).
Though both parties may initially claim victory, the continuing aspects favor Trump and do not look like a win for Kamala.
Israel remains under intense pressure (Pluto square its ASC) with continuing disruptive changes (Uranus retrograde conjunct its Sun). There will be opportunity for growth but perhaps also overreach (Jupiter opposite its p2 Jupiter). A turning point is occurring that shifts its identity away from religion and towards practical business (its p2 ASC leaves Sagittarius and enters Capricorn).

Book Review: “The Land of the Gods: the Long-Hidden Story of Visiting the Masters of Wisdom in Shambhala” – by H.P. Blavatsky (Radiant Books, republished 2022)
This small book purports to be a true travelogue of a journey through the Alpine mountains, but to me reads more like a fairytale.
Authored by none other than occultist and founder of the Theosophical Society in the late 1800s, Mme. H. P. Blavatsky. The tale is told in the first person, and takes us up, up, up a mountain near a small Tyrolian village, into a “mysterious valley”, and through a tunnel that leads into a mystical realm where a Master Adept is encountered.
This Master, we are told, is the Lord of Shambhala, and wishes to teach or guide the author into many profound insights. He is also her familiar discarnate spiritual guide. During her limited stay, she is taken through various portals, shown symbols of world religions, libraries, and the universal storehouse of all knowledge. Along the way, she asks many deep questions, such as “why didn’t you try to abolish some of the greatest evils that have afflicted the world?” Revelatory answers are given.
One important concept is “to realize the difference between your true and your illusive self”, by lesson of which she is at one point shown her own “gross and lifeless” corpse! Another such heavy-duty teaching is that the power of your personal will is only as compelling as your identification with the Will of the Universal Spirit. “Nature obeys those who act in obedience to her laws.”
In true Theosophical tradition, the book is replete with brilliant spiritual truths, too many to report herein, rendered in very formal language. We’re told that “once every hundred years, the Council of Shambhala is convened” to make important decisions concerning humanity’s and the planet’s evolution, and that 2024 is one of these centennials!
Some cool chapter headings are: Three Sisters Reunited; The Alchemical Laboratory; The Secret of Alchemy; and The Wisdom of the Sages. Last but not least, A Magical Journey… which is pretty much a description of this work. A helpful Glossary of terms is included.
I really enjoyed the book’s depth but couldn’t suspend disbelief about the reality of the travelogue. Not bad, 4 stars.

THE LIFTING
When the time comes for all to look around and reevaluate, then there shall be a great rejoicing, for a long-term plan that has been in the works for years will have come to fruition. The plan we speak of is not man-made, but a cosmic design intended to raise the inhabitants of Planet Earth - which would include the animal Kingdom and even those below it - to a new level of consciousness.
Planet Earth, Gaia, will also partake in this lifting. It is to be understood that once certain things were set in motion as part of this great design there could be no other outcome, for if life is to continue upon this planet, there must be a pinging of new light and new understanding. There must be a new unification of consciousness as a life force, as the driving energy that maintains and sustains the inhabitants and the environment of this particular planet.
Inasmuch as this is necessary and required, there has had to be a time when negative forces that kept the light dimmed were reduced or defeated by a transcendent experience that was, in fact, a cleansing. Such planetary cleansings have happened before and are remembered as cataclysms but in this era the very notion of advanced enlightenment requires not the cataclysm but the unfolding of a plan in which people participate and take actions. One can say that consciousness is being activated in the service of enlightenment.
We say no more at this time for much must be digested and integrated, even experiences that are challenging, dreadful, or misunderstood. More is to come soon enough.
