A PERSONAL NOTE

This has been a relatively quiet month, though I’ve been busy working on proofreading all the audio files for the upcoming audio version of my book, The Wisdom Keys.
For any author (or would-be one), the process of publishing an audiobook is very different than the standard way. I learned that one could use A.I. (such as Revoicer), but I found that it was too stilted and artificial-sounding (though inexpensive). Instead, choosing a live voiceover professional gave a much better quality but was very expensive and long term to complete. For the curious, I was given eight sample voices to choose from; then, the process of narrating 95,000 words (300 pages) took about five months; then, my homework of listening and catching any errors against the manuscript has taken a few months; then, the company’s engineering department will clean up the entire audio; and finally, the company will publish the book on three major platforms. Eight to ten months in total, while Saturn opposes my 9th house Neptune.
It is a very reputable company (as opposed to some “winners” I ran into), and the liaison person is also wonderful to work with (and is, I discovered, spiritually likeminded to our “tribe”. In fact, I think even my chosen narrator is, too. She seems to know intuitively how to pronounce some esoteric words and authors’ names.)
As I’ve worked on this project, I’ve felt the hand of God very strongly in everything that’s happening. It’s hard to explain. The motivation for doing it was astrologically fated. Significant material that was supposed to be left out was “miraculously” inserted. Tech-savvy acquaintances showed up unbidden to help me learn the ropes. And in re-reading the entire book (not done in the past eleven years), I’ve reawakened to concepts and perspectives that were semi-forgotten all this time. The book, especially the last Worldview, has worked some of its magic once again!
Audio books, like podcasts, are the happening thing. In our busy world, people don’t always have the time to sit and read a big book but like to listen to it while otherwise driving, vacuuming, or shopping. It’s multitasking! Maybe the Brotherhood of Light Workers wants to offer the book in this new format to reach minds that otherwise wouldn’t choose it. My job is to follow the “radar”, apply my skill-set, and bring it to the new market.

ASTRO TIDBITS - NOVEMBER 2025
The World keeps awakening (Uranus retrograde sextile Neptune)! Week 1 shows a positive use of strength amidst revamping (Mars sextile Pluto). Week 2 is excellent for business (Jupiter station retrograde trine Saturn exact). Week 3 can bring upsets but continuing liberation (New Moon opposite Uranus, trine Neptune/Saturn). Week 4 furthers economic benefits and shows much cause to celebrate, along with inspiration and idealism (Saturn station direct trine Jupiter; Venus trine Jupiter, trine Saturn/Neptune). Altogether, one of the best months ever.
The U.S. sees much progress in Week 1 (Mars sextile U.S. p2 Pluto, sextile U.S. MC). Week 2 is positive and hopeful for talks, negotiations, and financial matters (Jupiter station retrograde conjunct U.S. Mercury/PF/p2 NN, sextile U.S. Neptune exact). This week also shows plans regarding farmland and the entertainment industry, along with advancing spiritual development but can bring upsets to the job market (Mercury station retrograde conjunct U.S. p2 IC, opposite U.S. Uranus, trine U.S. NN; Neptune sextile U.S. p2 Pluto). Week 3 is a different story: people want greater freedom, with big moves, explosions, or accidents likely (Uranus trine U.S. p2 Pluto; Mars opposite U.S Uranus). There is high emotionalism, and a show of military might (New Moon in Scorpio square U.S. Moon; Mars conjunct U.S. ASC). People can be sad around Thanksgiving because of disillusionment of hopes but it’s also a time for smart choices (U.S. p2 Moon square U.S. Saturn; Saturn station direct opposite U.S. p2 Neptune, trine U.S. Mercury/PF).
President Donald Trump is contradictorily both thrifty and extravagant in Week 1 (Saturn trine his Venus; Jupiter square his p2 Venus). Week 2 sees him sever a relationship, review his decisions, then celebrate a big win (Uranus square his ASC; Mercury station retrograde trine his p2 MC, sextile his Neptune; Jupiter conjunct his Venus exact). He is forceful in Week 3 (Mars trine his Pluto). Month’s end repeats an earlier pattern of business success (Saturn station retrograde trine his Saturn/Venus).
NYC remains satisfactory for investments and prosperity (Pluto sextile its Uranus, trine its p2 Jupiter; its p2 Venus trine its Jupiter; Full Moon in Taurus in H1 trine its Sun). But there are weakening upsets on Election Day (Neptune square its Mars; Mars opposite its p2 Neptune; its p2 Moon enters Gemini conjunct t. Uranus). Socialist Mamdani wins despite angry protests (Full Moon conjunct his p2 Moon in H10; Pluto square his Mars, conjunct his Saturn). He will brag or make excessive promises but must take it slow (Mercury station retrograde square his Jupiter; Mars sextile his Saturn). A new start regards his residence or real estate in Week 3 (New Moon conjunct his p2 Sun in H4). However, he will face drastic change by early February (Uranus station direct in H9 opposite his p2 Sun in H3). This might involve legislation.

Book Review: “The Isaiah Effect: Decoding the Lost Science of Prayer and Prophecy, by Gregg Braden (Three Rivers Press, 2000)
Author Braden explores Dead Sea- and ancient Tibetan monastic scrolls to present to us a different take on the concept of prayer. Rather than seeing it as petition, he explains it to us as successful visualization… but later in the book, he confusingly falls back on the idea of group prayer as petition to achieve world peace!
The best example of this supposed new concept of prayer recounts his experience with David, a native American (no tribe given) who, in severely drought-stricken New Mexico, takes Braden to a sacred spot where David “prays rain”. Explaining that he did not “pray for rain (which implies a lack thereof), he basically visualized it as already happening. Afterwards, miraculously the weather patterns changed and much rain ensued. This effort, which I loved, in my opinion is rightly called visualization or even the Art of Manifestation rather than prayer.
Braden goes on to define prayer as three types: Petitionary, Ritualistic, and Meditative. This is debatable because prayer can be said to ask for something (petition) while meditation is the art of receiving and visualization is the art of creating or intending. I would argue that they are very different modes. Perhaps the author has conflated them for the purpose of presenting this book?
Further jumbling things, after schlepping up to visit an abbot of a remote and ancient Tibetan monastery, Braden learns that right prayer has three components: emotion, thought, and feeling. Feeling, we are told, is the key to prayer but it is NOT emotion. The clear definition of feeling is never really given. Is it intuition? A sensation? It would have been great if the author was able to define it better but maybe he isn’t clear about it himself. (Oddly, just before finishing the book, I synchronistically came across a five-minute explanation on the internet by Brian Tracy in 1986, with graphs and all, telling us to combine thoughts + emotion to achieve reality. No mention was made of feeling.)
In short, not a “Lost Science” but a well-understood modern technique!
For the Prophecy part of the book, biblical advice to “heal hearts, heal nations” proposes group prayer to counteract the many gloomy predictions of world destruction from various sources. But why not just visualize it as a done deal, as he has taught?! From a late-1990s perspective, that may have seemed viable. But in today’s fractured and dangerous world, would group prayer have sufficient power to dissolve divisions and avoid catastrophic earth changes? A key question. One of Brayden's best points is the insight that dire prophecies can be altered via quantum possibility, allowing group prayer to conceive or “jump” from one possibility to the next. In other words, two vastly different futures can exist at the same time, to be called into existence by the power of man’s visualization.
Confusing and sometimes off-base. – 2.5 stars.

THE REAL VIEW
At first, there is a sense that you will be overridden by external problems that are forming in society, or in the world. It appears that today's climate is increasing in problems and bringing with it much stress on the body and much worry for the mind. It is a climate of seeming dangers, distress, and helplessness. The world seems increasingly divided, uncompromisingly problem-ridden, and greatly out of control.
We paint this picture to mirror what is in many people's beliefs and what is, in a sense, being created as the general story that humanity is living through. However, the truth is that not much of this gloomy production is real. There is more fact to the idea of a shifting, developing, and more illuminated society than is perceived by most folk.
Gradually, in individuals, new beliefs are forming, slivers of hope are growing, and the creation of a better society is actually underlying the evident one and developing in hidden ways to be ultimately revealed in a happy way. The burgeoning benefits are coming from people's new ways of thinking and from creative innovations whose purpose is to provide a healthier and safer environment. And for those who will dwell in it, a vision is forming of a much better way of life than is visible now, even a better way of life that can hardly even be conceived now.
No doubt, this is a trying time to exist. In many corners of the world this change is gradually taking place but unseen behind the daily way of life and the usual suspects, we might say. But the world is changing, life on earth is shifting its purpose, its self-concept, and its relationship with nature. The future individual, when he or she looks back at this era, will understand the necessity of having to move through these current times just as they are, to reach that better future.
